Katsuki slammed his locker shut, sighing as he glanced at his wrist watch. It was getting late, and the play's rehearsals had taken up most of his time in the past few weeks. Not that he minded it, though. He enjoyed spending time with his new friends.
The blonde quietly made his way towards the main entrance, where he stopped. Outside, he spotted a familiar greenette, seemingly waiting for someone. Hitoshi, most likely. The blonde starred for a few seconds, seeing the small male absent-mindedly stare at his phone. He smiled, every now and then, leading him to think that Izuku was probably looking at something funny.
After a few minutes, the teenager decided to walk out, and of course, grab Midoriya's attention.
"Ah, there you are! I was waiting for you, slow-poke!" Izuku cackled. This surprised the blonde, but not too much.
"Why..?" He questioned, with a smirk. Midoriya smiled back.
"Do you want to come over for supper, tonight? I've been keeping you after class for the past 3 weeks, just for a silly show. We barely ever talk anymore! And, I told my dads about you, and they'd really like to meet you. Oh! And it's spaghetti, on the menu tonight. You wanna come?" Midoriya babbled, excitingly grabbing the taller male's arm. Katsuki looked down, dumbfounded.
"Yeah, sure... As long as your parents and brother don't mind." He smiled.
...
Izuku pushed open the front door, dragging the blonde inside.
"I'm home!" He called, taking off his jacket. Bakugou imitated the greenette's gesture, taking off his coat and sneakers.
"Huh, that's weird. They must be out in the backyard or something." Izuku spoke, zooming through the house. Bakugou awkwardly followed, in complete silence. He looked over to the stove, where a pot had been set. After several seconds, Izuku reappeared, with a smile.
"Found them, come on!" He cheered, signing to the blonde to follow. Katsuki hurried, catching up to the curly-haired boy. Eventually, they landed in the backyard, where the boy's family was sitting around the pool. Hitoshi, and their fathers.
"Welcome home, 'Zuku. Ah, this must be Katsuki." A certain black-haired man spoke. Bakugou politely smiled and nodded.
"Nice to meet you, sirs." He spoke, shaking both men's hands. They seemed nice enough. One more talkative than the other, he got bombarded of questions. Overall, Katsuki had a very interesting and fun night.
After supper, Bakugou was offered to stay for a little while longer, which he gladly accepted. Izuku spent some time showing him around, which led to them staying in his bedroom for a while, until they got bored, and Izuku offered to go take a walk outside. And so they did.
The leaves were crunching beneath the boys' feet as they walked through the woods, a cool breeze hitting their faces as they did so.
"Where exactly are you taking me... Are we lost?" Bakugou snickered, dodging a tree. Izuku turned around to face him, an amused smile plastered across his face.
"I used to come here a lot with Hito when I was a kid... Don't worry, we're not lost. I just want to show you Hito and I's secret childhood hideout. When my parents would argue, me and him would wander off, until they cleared things out. Usually, we'd come here, and play games together all the time. There's a nice pond next to it, too. Now that I think about it, two kids in the middle of the woods like this was very risky. I mean, one of us could have drowned, who knows. Oh well, come on!" Izuku blurted, suddenly beginning to jog. Katsuki kept up, running along with his friend. Eventually, they reached their destination.
A few old children's camping chairs were scattered around the pond, as well as some old childhood toys. Most of them were covered by leaves, but were still in good condition. It was clearly someone's camping spot, but this was rather two people's old hideout.
"So this is where you guys hung out?" Katsuki questioned, taking a seat upon a log. Izuku crouched near the lake, playing around with the cold water.
"Yep. I loved this place. But then Hito became a teenager and completely stopped coming here... I was too scared to come alone, so I stayed behind, and we never came back." The greenette spoke, joining the blonde. He brushed off some leaves from the log and sat down with him, looking up to the orange sky.
"Man, I miss sitting here, like this. Maybe I should clean it up and restore it a bit more." The curly-haired male spoke, suddenly looking over to Bakugou. Katsuki smiled and nodded, agreeing that it was a good idea. A moment of silence occurred, as both males stared up to the sky. As stars started to appear, the short boy spoke once again.
"Can I share something with you?" He asked, suddenly looking down. Katsuki looked over, seeing the gloomy look on the other's face.
"Sure, what's up?" He asked, looking forward to hear what he had to say. Izuku crossed his arms, fidgeting nervously.
"Swear you won't tell anybody else..?" He asked, a shaky voice. Bakugou nodded, staring at his friend, who was clearly stressed about something.
"There's this guy... That I met, not too long ago. And... He's nice! He's charming! He's funny, and sweet! But... I don't understand. I like women. Yet, I lay in bed all night just thinking of him. If I think about him... I get..." Izuku looked away, a blush visible on his cheeks. "I get... T-Turned on... Easily. But if I think of another guy, it doesn't work that way. It's just him. Otherwise, I just think of women. But these past few weeks... It's been him, and only him. I don't know how to get over him. I know you're not the best person to be talking to this about... Y'know, with your straightness and all. But... I don't feel comfortable bringing it up with my family. I feel as if they'll understand, but take things out of proportion. So... Any advice? 'Cause... 'Cause I'm... I'm really f-freaking out here."
As tears pricked at the side of Midoriya's eyes, Bakugou felt his heart ache. This whole time, Izuku's been assuming that he was straight? Then again, he's never brought it up with him either. But still.
The blonde looked down, soft sobs occurring next to him. Izuku needed him, yet he had no idea what to say.
"I'm glad you brought it up, actually." Katsuki spoke, looking over to Midoriya. His sobs got quieter, as he looked over in curiosity.
"You are?"
"I am... Deku, you're an amazing guy. And whoever this crush of yours is, he's lucky to have you in his life. I understand that you're confused and all. Especially in your situation. I mean, you've liked girls your entire life, and now, there's this one guy that seems to be ruining everything, right?"
Midoriya nodded shyly, wiping away the tears.
"Well, see! I think you should talk to this guy and let him know about your feelings. Maybe he'll help you clear things ou-" Katsuki's words were abruptly cut off by a loud, frustrating sob. He paused, for a minute, before the green haired boy let out a scream that seemed to resonate for miles.
"I AM! I AM TALKING TO HIM- SHIT! I TALK TO HIM EVERYDAY! AND EVERY TIME I DO, MY HEART FLUTTERS! HE TURNS ME ON! HE'S SO HOT! HE'S NICE! HE'S GOT A GREAT PERSONALITY! HE CONFUSES ME- SHIIIT! I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE'S GAY OR EVEN INTERESTED IN MEN! I DON'T THINK SO- SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM, DAMN IT! I'M NOT GAY! I CAN'T BE, I CAN'T BE, I CAN'T BE GAY! I'M STRAIGHT! I'M STRAIGHT! WOMEN! WOMEN! NOT MEN! WHY? WHY DO I HAVE TO LOVE YOU, OUT OF ALL PEOPLE? DAMN IT!"
