Journal Entry Eight

I still have yet to formulate an actual plan to have that treacherous women leave my thoughts. It's been a few days since my appointment and tonight is the scheduled charity ball event for the company.

I needed to make amends with the board of directors so that I can get back my rightful spot as CEO of the company. I tried living life unrestricted and without any responsibility and the only thing it got me was an unhealthy fascination with some woman. I need my old life back, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to do so.

"Thank you for taking the time out of your day to meet with me," Harry said, unbuttoning his suit jacket as he sat down at the head of the conference room table.

"What would you like us to do for you today?" The CFO, Mr. Mathias Holloway, smilies kindly at him. Mr. Holloway was a nice family man, always kind and his entire background check was clean.

"I'm here to reinstate my position as CEO, as promised by my father a year ago before his death," he cut to the chase, leaning back into his chair while looking around the room.

"What?" The current CEO, Dean Baizen, shouted in anger. "How dare you come up here and start making demands!"

"Demands about my own company?" Harry's voice was icy yet eerily calm. "Did you forget who gave you this position in the first place?"

Dean quickly shut up, a worried look frozen on his face.

"Not only is your work ethic shady, but for the past few months our revenue has been going down and the value of our stocks in the markets decreased." Harry stood from his seat and sauntered his way around the table. "I took a visit to the Stock Exchange last week, hoping that the company broker would be able to tell me what the bloody hell has been making our profits drop so drastically."

Mr. Baizen was now visibly paling, and his hands visibly started to shake from under the table.

"Only for me to find out that broker was fired, because she make a report to Human Resources about a certain married CEO constantly sending lewd remarks her way or touching her inappropriately in the break room." Harry finally got behind Dean's chair and put his hands on his shoulders.

"Now, would you care to tell me if all the things I just said were fact or fiction?" Harry asked, his hands tightening around his shoulders.

"Please, I have a wife and two kids," he begged, his eyes starting to water.

"Oi, stop taking the piss," Harry said in response with an eye roll. "If you really cared about them, you wouldn't have cheated with several different whores and your assistants. You're fired. You have exactly ten minutes to get your personal belongings out of my new office before I send them down the trash chute to be incinerated."

There was nothing Harry hated more than cheaters.

"Mr. Styles, I beg you-" Harry cut him off.

"Your ten minutes are running, Mr. Baizen," Harry noted while looking at his Rolex, making the older man run out of the conference room in a rush.

Harry sighed with relief and sat down in Dean's old seat. "Now that that mess is cleaned up, let's get down to real business."

The sun was slowly starting to set at 4 PM, since fall was slowly starting to make its way into the winter season.

Harry hailed a cab and told the driver to head over to Saks Fifth Avenue so he could find himself a suit for tonight.
