I open my eyes slowly and I see.... Aiden.
Am I dreaming? It's really him! It's my knight in shining armor Aiden! He came to save me... Lord Jesus Christ, if I'm dreaming, please don't wake me up anymore.
After gazing into those yellow, lovable orbs, I finally realize how close he's holding me. Our faces are only inches apart and he's carrying me bridal style. My cheeks heat up like crazy and he puts me down.
"Our princess is saved by the one and only, Prince Aiden!" Emma and James announce.
"T-thank you...my prince."
"No need to thank me, I will do everything I can for you." Aiden smiled sweetly and kissed the back of my hand. I blushed profusely.
And so, the Jerome-Aiden team won. Emma said a while ago that the winning team gets a surprise while the losing team gets a consequence, right? Well, I'm not really sure what she's thinking about. It could be something bizarre... something she intentionally decided not to tell me.
"Our princes truly deserve a surprise but what could we give them that they still don't have?" James questioned.
"Actually James, I've prepared that yesterday. It's something very simple but with great dedication. Bring in the surprise!"
One of the staff members brought in two medium-sized boxes. James and Emma opened the boxes and inside the boxes were two gold necklaces with a G-clef pendant. Wait, I recognize those!
"Last year, YaniE gave these to ten lucky fans. She made another one for herself, some for her family and gave me three of these. We're really good friends and that's not unknown to you. Since I don't have anyone to give these to, I just kept it. She worked hard to design it herself with the help of a renowned jewelry store in town. This is your surprise."
My eyes were on the necklaces. Yes, that's true. I made those but...why is she giving it away to them?! What if Aiden doesn't like it? ....
"Thanks, Yani." Jerome said.
"It's beautiful." Waaah, this is enough for one day. You were the only one who comforted me when I needed someone, now you're complimenting me and all, making my heart race. STAP.
"And for Sean and Jude, you guys have a consequence!"
"You have to do the Gwiyomi!"
"Jerome bro, I'm so glad we won." Aiden teased the others.
They look really embarrassed but they have no choice. I felt sorry for them, but there was a cuteness overload once they did it. How I wish I could see Aiden do that too...
Wait, what am I thinking?!
"Thank you for watching Musik Mix!"
"Please look forward to next week's episode!"
"That's a wrap!" The director shouted.
The studio is now empty. All the fans have already made their way out of the building, the staff are cleaning the area and here I am, walking around the hallway of the backstage. I knocked on the door of Emma's dressing room.
"Yaniiiiii! You did a very great job today!!!" Emma attacked me with a hug.
"We all did a great job, Emma. B-but why did you-"
"You said I could give it to anyone! And come on, don't deny it. I can see right through you, Yan. You're not a tad bit angry."
"I-...I..." I looked down and blushed.
"See? You're blushing! Take a seat, you have to give me a full explanation!"
I followed Emma inside her dressing room and took a seat on one of the comfy chairs. She looked at me intently with her arms crossed, clearly waiting for what she calls an 'explanation'. I giggled at her actions.
