A New Love Story

Cora and Sam where in the garage having this huge fight about something for about 20 minutes until it came to a stop when Cora got up from the bench and left to go to the bus stop that was 5 blocks away to head home. As she was heading to the bus stop her phone rang and could see it was Sam and so she didn't answer it.As she was walking she didn't realize the incoming car that was coming her way and when she did it was too late and she was flying and hit a tree and heard a loud crack in her back, and then she started flipping and stopped when she hit her head and her vision started to fade away.

The next day, Sam was still angry with himself about the huge fight he had with Cora, so he decided to call her, but the call went straight to voicemail, and so he tried to call her again, but it went straight to voicemail once more. Without any luck with calling Cora he decided to head over to Cora's house and apologize to her. As he walked down the stairs he noticed his parents on the couch "what is it? What have I done?."

"What happened?" Sam say as soon as he arrived at the hospital and saw Zac with his parents, "hit and run?" Zac replies, "when?" Sam asks Zac, "yesterday when she was leaving your house?" Zac responds to Sam, who proceeded to sit on the chair, "How is she?" Sam asks Zac but receives no response. "Tetraplegia," Zac answers after a few minutes of silence. "What exactly is tetraplegia?" Sam inquires, but the doctor responds, "the inability to actively move the top and lower regions of the body" the doctor stopped speaking and so Sam jumps in " Is there a cure?" but the shook his head and said "no".


Cora was startled up to her doctor's voice. she came over to Cora. Assisting her in getting out of bed and into the bathroom. Cleaning her up, putting on her clothing, placing her in her wheelchair, and combing her hair, and eventually heading to the cafeteria and having  breakfast. Cora wasn't hungry, but she knew she'd lose more freedom if she didn't, so she lets her mother feed her. "Good girl," her mother says to her, who remains still. Cora tells her doctor, "I'm done now," and heads to the window in her wheelchair, which she despises but can't get rid of.

Cora was staring out the window when she heard a knock on the door . She turned around thinking it was Sam, but she discovered it wasn't Sam, but one of Zac's buddies Aiden and Tommy, and so she went back to the  window "how is she?" Tommy asks Zac "I still have tetraplegia" Cora says to Tommy who was coming over to Cora, but Cora just moved away.

Cora wanted to be alone, and not have to deal with anyone , but she couldn't because of her injury and that made her angry, and she wishes that she could go to bed and wake up and not be in the wheelchair  " I know you don't like this, but this is what we have to work with from now on " Cora's dad says to her, and that's when he noticed a tear running down her face and so he went to grab a tissue from the washroom and comes back over to Cora and starts drying off her face, but got interrupted by Cora " DON'T TOUCH MY FACE!!!".

Cora had some visitors, but none of them where Sam, she hasn't seen Sam since the big fight. She was so angry that he didn't come to visit her in the hospital, she thought he loved her, but she was proven wrong.  Cora definitely thought her relationship was over and  won't be with him ever again.

Cora was getting sick of the hospital and just wanted to go home, but unfortunately couldn't do "You know you would get out of here if you listen to me and the rest of the doctors here at the hospital" one of Cora's doctors says to her after She was not doing anything she was supposed to do with the doctor.  Cora finally allowed the doctor to do something, but she didn't like it one bit "I'll be back tomorrow at  the same time" the doctor says to cora and her parents before leaving the room, and off to attend to another patient.

"I haven't seen Sam in a while" Cora's mother says out loud "honey maybe now is not the time to talk about Sam" Cora's father says to his wife " why not, he's Cora's boyfriend?" Cora's mother replies back to her husband "guys maybe you two should talk about something else infront of Cora" Zac says to his parents who stopped talking " you're right hon" Zac's father says to his son.

"As Cora's parents were waiting in the doctor's office, Cora's doctor told them, "Well, I have some good news!" Cora's father asked the doctor, "Well, me and the rest of Cora's doctors were looking at the chart, and we can say now that her tracheostomy tube can be removed" and as soon as the doctor said that, Cora's parents began to cry and hug each other.

After talking with the doctor for a while Cora's parents came  back into Cora's hospital room, and coming over to her bed and telling her the news, but she wasn't interested with what they said since she was still thinking about Sam and why he didn't come to see her in the hospital. " Did you hear what I said honey" Cora's father says to her, and Cora blink twice for no " you are able to go home in a couple of days" Cora's mother says to Cora, who lets out a small smile.

Days have passed, and it was time for Cora to go home and let's just say she was happy, but angry that sam didn't come to see her while she was in the hospital. She wanted to ask him so many question about why he didn't visit her in the hospital.
