Lena's POV//

I was sitting in the garage strumming my Fender, playing around with some new riffs when I heard a lighter flick on. I turned around to see who it was and it was none other than Eddie. The lighter casts a warm light over his face, making him visible in the dark corner of the garage.

"Why are you watching me like a creep", I asked him, raising my eyebrows and setting the guitar down.

He took a puff of his cigarette before walking over and handing it to me. I stuck it in between my lips while he blew out a tuft of smoke.

"I was admiring your mediocre guitar skills", he chortled, "there's a reason why I play guitar in this band."

I promptly snatched the cigarette out of my lips in frustration, coughing up the smoke that had been sitting in my lungs.

"Yeah try being lead vocals for a day and tell me how easy it is, dickwad.", I snapped at him, making him laugh.

I handed back his cigarette and put the guitar away on the wall where we stored all of our other band supplies.

Eddie had entered through the side door of the garage so I clicked the button opening the main door to allow more light in and to let the smell of cigarettes out. My older sister complained when I smoked and was always threatening to tell our mother. My father always said it was "un- ladylike" to smoke. Which is obviously bullshit. It wasn't like I was a chain smoker. I only smoked when I was with Eddie since he always shared his smokes with me. I was very deep in thought, almost forgetting Eddie was there as I sat down criss-crossed on the floor. I shook a bottle of black nail polish to repaint my nails as I patted the floor in front of me signaling for Eddie to sit down.

"What's the matter Lena?", he asked after he had taken off his leather jacket and rolled up his sleeves on his signature hellfire club shirt while looking at me with a furrowed brow.

"It's nothing I'm just so stressed with school I guess, and my family has been up my ass. As always", I vented while coating my nails in the thick black polish.

A piece of my pink frizzy hair fell into my face and I hopelessly tried to blow it out of my face. Eddie noticed my frustration and tucked it behind my ear before standing back up.

"Sorry about that Lena", he stated while flipping through vinyls on the table in the corner. "Hopefully after rehearsal you will feel better, I know it always puts a smile on your face", he added with a smirk.

"Yeah if anyone shows up on time", I grumbled looking up from my nails and at the clock. Finding the Kiss record he wanted, he pulled it out and threw it onto the record player nearby. Love Gun started playing loudly from the speakers. I bobbed my head to the music, my mood improved.

Eddie lazily walks back over and sits down across from me. "Give me your hands", I quipped as I pulled the hand he wasn't leaning on towards me. "Your nail polish looks terrible."

"Wow. Thank you so much you are so kind", he says while laughing. I smiled softly at Eddie's antics.

"Love Gun?, should've played, I like it loud," I teased.
