Prince Andrew
I picked up and started reading Ragnarok: Fall of the Nordic Gods and Goddess'. A few hours passed as we read our books. I looked up from my book to stretch my neck, when I had looked in the mirror. It was facing Princess Margaret and I. It's always been there. I thought it was just a normal mirror, but Princess Margaret looked different. I looked back at Princess Margaret, then back at the mirror and again and again. Princess Margaret finally looked over at me when I looked at her for the third time. "Why do you keep looking at me?" Princess Margaret asked.
I just pointed to the mirror and she looked at the mirror as well. "What?" She said, shocked. She placed her book down on the table and stood up. I followed her movements. She walked cautiously to the mirror and said again, "What? How?" In the mirror, she had two long reddish-orange horns on her forehead. Her skin was covered in red, orange, and green scales. Her long golden-brown hair was more fiery looking. "How is this possible?" She asked, then two large black wings appeared in the mirror behind her.
"Why do you look like that?" I asked.
"Touch the mirror," Miss. Ghan told Princess Margaret.
"Umm... Okay," Princess Margaret said, hesitantly, then she pressed her right hand on the glass of the mirror. There was a flash of light. I covered my eyes and stumbled backwards a little bit. I felt an arm around my shoulders and when my vision restored, I saw Cole next to me with her arm around my shoulders. I looked forward to Princess Margaret and she looked like her mirror self. "Don't look at me! I'm..." She said, as she cowered and hid most of her body with her wings.
"So beautiful,"
"Hideous!" Princess Margaret and I said at the same time. I stood up straight and walked over to her.
"I think you're beautiful. In any form," I said as I walked closer.
"But, you asked that question so judgmental," She said.
I sat down in front of her on my shins and said, "I asked a question. If it sounded judgmental to you, then I'm sorry. I never judged you,"
"You really think I'm beautiful?" She asked. She seemed much more relaxed than before.
"You are beautiful in any form. But, I like this form the most," I said, then I scooted closer to her.
She started to cry and yelled, "My family kept me from public appearances because I was just so ugly!" I pulled her in for a hug.
"I wish I could kiss you on the forehead so I can calm you down," I said.
"I'd like you to do that," She said, "I've always hated my religion. It's so stupid how we can't just show some affection towards each other,"
"At least, we can have sweet moments like this," I said, then I hugged her tighter.
"Why was this stupid rule even made?" Princess Margaret complained.
"It was made so that teenagers and some adults wouldn't go too far," Cole explained, "Does that answer your question?" She had walked over to Princess Margaret and I.
Princess Margaret pushed my hug away and said, "Not really,"
"It was very monumental when it was instated," Cole said, then she went on to explain what happened in the past and why many rules were made.
"That many things happened in the past," Princess Margaret commented.
"Yes, but we really shouldn't dwell on what happened in the past," Cole said.
"Why don't ya and I touch the mirror?" Miss. Ghan asked. Cole and Miss. Ghan walked over to the mirror, then they touched the surface of the mirror. When they touched the mirror, the same thing that happened to Princess Margaret happened to them. Cole changed into a gray, light blue, and white lizard. Miss. Ghan changed into a human chipmunk hybrid. I stumbled backwards into a pile of books and asked, "What are you?"
