Day 2
Prince Andrew
I lifted and opened the trapdoor. "What's down there?" Princess Margaret asked.
"Heaven," I responded.
"Heaven? What's that?" Princess Margaret asked as if she were confused about something.
"Heaven? It's the greatest place in the world," I said then I descended down into the dark hole.
"Is it another planet?" She asked as she descended down with me.
"Well, maybe. It's where all the dead go. But, it's also a figure of speech," I said.
"Oh. So, it's like Nowhere," Princess Margaret said. We descended down into the dark and reached an underground cavern.
"Nowhere? What do you mean?" I asked, then I helped Princess Margaret to the ground.
"Nowhere is a place. It's a place where nobody can be reborn into anything," Princess Margaret said. I lit a candle and our faces were illuminated. We started to walk down the cavern.
"That doesn't make any sense. Nowhere can't be a place. It's... Nowhere," I said, "And nobody can be reborn into anything? What does that even mean? It doesn't make sense to me,"
"When people die, they're a Nobody. If they're Nobodys, then they can be anyone and anything," She said.
"But, still. That makes no sense. Nobody can't be anything. They're a nobody," I said, "And what even is a Nobody?"
"A Nobody is someone who dies," Princess Margaret said.
"So, Nobodys are souls?" I asked, trying to make sense of it all. I want to understand her and how she sees the world. I thought.
"No!" Princess Margaret exclaimed in distress, "Souls are what the bad people are called. They'll never be able to be reborn. Nobodys are all the good people who can be reborn," Princess Margaret said.
"Are they like ghosts, then?" I asked.
"No," She said, "Ghosts are the most perfect beings. They are allowed to ascend into Naeh's Paradise,"
"Here we are," I said, then I blew out the candle.
"Wait!" She screamed, "Oh, great. Nice going, Andrew. Now, we're in the dark," I knew she would be annoyed.
"Wait," I said, then I looked up at the ceiling of the cavern. After a few seconds, little bits of the ceiling started to glow like stars. I looked back at her and her face was lit up with joy.
"How did you find this place?" She asked as she smiled and walked around the room. She was looking at the ceiling and so did I.
"I found it when I was 6 years old. My candle burned out. I started to cry, then I saw the lights on the ceiling," I answered.
"It's so beautiful," She said. She continued to look and walk around the room. I just found someplace to sit and smile, softly, at her. She turned and looked at me with a huge smile on her face. She came to me and sat down with me. We talked and joked and laughed for a long while. I was about to ask her more until we heard something running towards us. We turned our heads around and it was Cole.
"Prince Andrew! Prince Andrew!" Cole yelled as she ran towards us, "Prince Andrew, King Hans wants you in the dining hall,"
"Yes, Cole," I said, then I got up from where I was and helped Princess Margaret up. I walked in the direction back to the trapdoor.
