Monday -- After schoolSoobin's P.O.V
Roughly snatching the suitcase out of my fathers sweaty grip, I effortlessly carry it outside of the car as I let a slight smile slip through.
I don't usually listen to those I don't like, I don't even pay attention to the rumours made about me or the mean comments, stares, and admirers. But this time I listened, I listened to someone I thought I'd never thought would be right.
Ye Won.
I listened to her when she said we should fight against our parents wants.
We're both experienced when it comes to the gas lighting and manipulation, however, it seems we've both grown out of it, we're immune.
"Soobin, please! You don't have to do this, we're sorry" 'Grieved' my mother, I know perfectly well that she's upset that their precious business won't have its heir. The anger swells and I feel the victories that my other friends feel so well, though that feeling swells as well because then I see that face.
The face that causes me to turn red and flustered.
Lia honked at me once again as she leaned in, trying to see me. "Come on Soobin! Get in" She exclaims as I sigh and nod, though I'm forgetting that I still need to carry more of my stuff out the door, but it barely passes my current thoughts. "Aren't you forgetting something" Says Lia's soothing, amused voice, though it seems a victorious day leads to a whole lot of other victories.
Doesn't it?
Because the next thing I knew, I was comfortably leaning into the rolled down window, face wearing what I think is an alluring smile, and my figure getting as close as it can to Lia's now flustered figure.
Though it's barely noticeable.
"Wanna help me out?" I question gesturing to the many suitcases and boxes on the front door where my parent's stood with their saddened faces. "Soobin..." Lia warns as if this wasn't okay, honestly I enjoyed this but she was right, we were just friends after all.
Why am I like this?
Clearing my throat, I lean back to my tall stance as I sigh and go retrieve the rest of my stuff. Honestly Soobin, you've just had to make a very awkward and laughable move, like what was that?! "Soobin, aren't you going to at least help out at the company?" My mother practically begged as my father looked more angry than her, my embarrassed state faded out as I walked up the front door. They just always ruin my mood, "Move" I instruct whilst I try to get to my other suitcase, "No, Soobin give us some respect, we just found out that you disobeyed us after you plotted to dismiss your expected marriage."
Right, I forgot to tell you.
They found out everything, I don't know how, but I do know that I was getting all their anger yesterday. It was so hard for my father to stop the yelling, so I guess my mother finally got to him though she isn't entirely happy about it either. "So either you, move out and marry Ye Won, or you stay here and marry her" I scoffed and shook my head, the feeling of anger was flowing through my veins and I couldn't get rid of it. I needed to calm down because Lia was waiting and because of her easily intrigued self, I didn't want her getting curious or interested.
"Please just give me the suitcase" I pleaded as I attempted to walk towards it again, although my mothers petite figure came to block it, it honestly almost made me laugh, until my father which is where my height came from, tries to assist my mother in doing what I'm loathing.
I honeslty was ready to fight them for my suitcase.
And what they were doing was so childish, I could laugh.
