I saw stoick genuinely felt bad, so I decided to take my helmet off. After I handed the helmet off to Eret I said "I am Cheif Hiccup Haddock the third!"
My father and Astrid started crying as snotlout punched me in the face.
Astrid pov
Snotlout punched hiccup! A cheif on his own land! I went to yell at snotlout but hiccup grabbed him by his neck pulling him close.
Hiccup pov
I grabbed snotlout by the neck pulling him close saying I am a cheif, and telling him he'll be spending the night in prison. He paled at my statement and I just threw him at Eret. I turned back to the group. Gobber came to give me a bone crushing hug, saying he missed me. Then stoick asked who was the little girl next to me. My Daughter scarlet.
Stoick pov
I asked hiccup who was the little girl that left. He said his daughter scarlet. I have a granddaughter. I'm a grandfather, oh hell yeah! I just hugged him, saying I wanted to make things right and get to know scarlet. Then I asked where her mother was. He told me she died 2 years after scarlet was born. He said she died protecting her from Dagur. Hiccup was only able to save scarlet before Dagur got her.
Astrid pov
Hearing the story of hiccups daughter I cried and hugged him.
He surprisingly hugged back tearing up a bit.
