Fang awoke to find himself back in the Ballroom Ruby leaning over him already changed with a beaming smile.
Fang:(Grunts)It's time huh…
Isabella appeared beside him donning a bright smile.
Isabella:Wanna bet on who can get a higher score on the test?
Fang:(Considers) Why not 500 lien
Isabella:DEAL!
Ruby:Do you have 500 lien Isabella?
Isabella:Nope but I won’t lose!
Ruby:I’m not so sure about that.
The group walked across Beacon towards the locker rooms where their weapons were being stored. Ruby’s “Crescent Rose” and Isabella’s “Frontier” were in their respective places but Fang’s “Redemption” along with “Mercy” weren’t in his locker.
Fang:Oh?
Isabella and Ruby noticed Fang’s missing sword.
Ruby:Where did it go?
As if on cue Yang took up Fang’s arm as if they were dating. She had the largest smile in history.
Fang:(Releases arm)What do you want?
Yang:Weeeeelllll you see I noticed that you didn’t have a weapon so I figured you’d need someone strong to protect you.
Isabella:Sorry but he has me and Ruby to protect him.
Yang:Seriously that murderer couldn’t kill me, and you look weak neither of you could protect my future husband.
Isabella looked like she was preparing to retaliate but Ruby interrupted her.
Ruby:Leave Us Alone…
Yang:(scoffs)As if you would do anything…And what’s with the box?
Ruby:Wanna find out?
Fang:OKAY not that I don’t enjoy watching a brat get what she deserves I also don’t wanna be late.
Yang:(Smiles)Well said honey.
She reached for Fang’s hand only for Fang to grab both Ruby’s and Isabella’s hands pulling them with him out the door. Leaving a confused Yang who soon realized what had happened.
Yang:(Yells)THAT’S WHY I HID THAT HEAVY THING YOU CALL A SWORD!
…
The Exam seemed to have been taking place in a forest. Immediately Fang could sense thousands of Shadowy signatures including one extremely strong one.
Fang:It may be best to avoid that one.
Ozpin: That being said, the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the rest of your time here at Beacon.
Ruby:WHAT!
Fang could understand why she bursted out like that, what if she made eye contact with her sister or someone worse. He leaned over to her ear.
Fang:Don’t worry I’ll try to find you as quickly as possible.
Ruby: But your sword…
TWONK!
A student vanished from their place and appeared in the sky.
Fang:I’ll be fine, trust me.
Ozpin noticed Fang was missing his sword but didn’t dwell too much on it.
Yang:(Leans over to Fang)Last chance to…
TWONK!
She was gone before she could finish her statement Fang prepped himself winking to Ruby and Isabella before…
TWONK!
…He was skybound.
…
Fang glided over the forest at incredible speeds, multiple energy signals flew past underneath him. He threw his arms out as if he was trying to balance himself in midair white and azure colored particles began forming in the shape of a sword.
Fang:Mercy!
The familiar blade formed upon Fang calling its name, twisting in midair Fang was falling as though he was standing the ground was several inches from him.
Fang:On now…
He shifted his body once again so he was parallel to the ground, he performed a rightward slash that cut into the ground the force of the swing causing him to shift into a Raize landing on his feet.
He sighed as he looked at the damage made, a large slash-like crater cut through the forest floor, several trees were bent backwards from the force of the slash.
Fang:(Thought)I held back quite a bit…

Halfway across the forest Ruby was ducking and dodging in search of either Fang or Isabella. She started panicking the moment she landed. Fang was missing his sword, could he still fight?
Ruby:(Thought) Fang please survive…
She was so busy worrying about Fang that she ended up not noticing the stump sticking out from a tree, she tripped and went spiraling down a hill. Upon landing on the solid ground she immediately stood up as if she wasn’t hurt. Bushes and twigs reached out at the young Rose as she continued rushing through the forest.
Ruby:(thought)What am I thinking he's strong beyond common sense...
She forced her way out if the forest and was met with the bright sun touching her pale skin.
...
Halfway across the forest several trees within a wide margin were toppled over with Fang sitting in the midde of it.
He looked towards the sky above, at his feet were several thousand shadow bodies.
"Why are these creatures so...weak?" Azura wondered within Fang's mind.
Fang pondered on that question before just shrugging it off...
"..."
"I'm heading deeper into the forest..." Fang sighed as he marched forward.
And find Ruby...no matter the cost.
