You don't remember what last minute decision brought you to hastily aboard this ship. It was loaded with mean looking men, the atmosphere was quite troublesome. You fixed up your hair a little, deciding to go and sit towards the bow of the ships front. This way, you could maximize the experience of the ride, while also avoiding any problems. You took out your cell phone, quickly checking in on your younger half.

Me:
Hey Alana. Have you gotten there safely yet?

Alana:
Yes I have thankfully. Made a friend on the way! He's much younger than me tho

Me:
Good, it's great your having a blast.

Alana:
Well? Are you? I know you felt as if it was better if we went seperate times but I can't help but feel worried. Have you made any friends?

Me:
No not yet I just boarded.

Alana:
Okay well, Kil's telling me to put the phone down so we can go. I'll see you at the exam site! You know where to go!

You sighed, bringing your phone down and putting it in your pocket. Your eyes were closed for quite some time, but you could feel somebody piercing gaze on you. You opened your eyes slowly, to be met inches from your nose a boy with wide eyes and pointy hair. Your eyes widened a bit, quite startled. "Yes?" You asked the boy. You observed his features. Quite young. Perhaps 12?14? He seems pretty extroverted like sister. His hair reminds me of grass blades....

"Hi! I'm Gon!" He smiled, holding his hand out for you. You nodded, taking his hand and getting up softly. "Nice to meet you Gon. I'm Bassie." He smiled at you; his brows were quite fierce. "I like that name, bassie. It's unique!" He reminded you in a disturbing way how your sister was. Hopefully they can meet.

"You remind me of somebody." I smiled, softly bringing my hand up to the boys head. Once I saw no hesitation or questioning, I gently ruffled the boys hair. He smiled back up to me, tilting his head. "May I ask who?" "Yes, my sister. She's around my age, on the brink of nineteen; but she's my polar opposite, which is you by the looks of it." You smiled. He nodded. "Wow! Is she taking the hunter exam?" He asked. You chuckled, removing your hand. "Well yes, but we went separate ways . She will meet me in the beginning site." You noted, following Gon who was now walking somewhere.

"Ah, well I'd like you to meet my friends!"
Gon went inside the cabin , to which there was a boy and a girl? No a boy? Maybe a feminine boy... You were surprised it wasn't just a handful of people, rather than the four of you. After the first round of bad sea, many people had left on life boats. "Hello, I'm kurapika." The feminine boy greeted , extending his hand. You shook it, giving a gentle nod. Then you turned to the much taller man. "You can call me Leorio!" You shook his hand as well. "Greetings, my name is Bassie. I hope we can all get along with each other."you smiled, taking a gentle bow. They smiled back up at you.

"Now, why do you want to become hunters?"

Kurapika ended up being the last Kurta of the Kurta clan; and wanted revenge. Leorio wanted money, but I doubt that's the real reason. Gon wanted to find his dad. Understandable, daddy issues can be harsh on a child .

"And you?" The captain asked, turning towards you. You snapped out your day dream . "Uh-huh-oh! Yes! The exam..." you pondered. "Hm, I won't lie. I can take jobs and make money to support me and my sister, I can kill without legal troubles, and I can explore the world or consider jobs that an average being cannot do. " Kurapika fist clenched, lowering his/her head. "How could you say that? Openly talk about massacre? Is this a game to you?!" He latched out. You simply tilted your head.

"I am sorry if I said anything to offend you, forgive me. And no, though my main motive is not to kill, I will gladly do so if harm comes to me, my family or beloved ones. And I don't want to get caught up in the legal messes, so it is a pro to the list."
Kurapika understood clearly, and nodded . "Yes, forgive me for misunderstanding." You nodded, forgiving them.

Such passionate people, this is quite unusual.

Some time passed by, and Kurapika and Leorio had gone out to fight each other, so you decided to come and watch with Gon. You sat your phone inside safely just in case you were out getting wet, and sat your coat aside inside too. You followed Gon through out the cabin, as well as the buff captain who kind of looked like a knock off Santa Claus from a cola commercial. Suddenly, Gon had leaped in front of the fight, grabbing ahold of a sailor apprentice who was going to fall off. In a quick time span, I ran up behind Leorio and Kurapika, grabbing onto their shirts to make sure they didn't slip.

I pulled them both back and we all kind of fell onto the boats deck, which Gon had started getting yelled at. Gon looked at me for some pity but I simply shrugged. Though I could reason with him a bit. Yes, he did take a risk and save another. Yes, Leorio and Kurapika did pull him just on time. Yes, he could of ended on the ocean floor. You decided to stop Kurapika in the middle of their statement. "Excuse me for my rudeness, but I do not understand why you meddle so much with possibilities. It seems to me your the type to focus too much on the past, rather than the future. Of course Gon could of seriously gotten injured, or worse; but that never happened. Because no matter what the outcome is the same. Gon was saved by the two of you, yes?" You asked, turning to them. Kurapika quieted down, and Leorio nodded. Gon looked at you and smiled, giving you a soft 'thank you' nod, before you all went inside.

"Now , let's get some rest so we can get off this thing, shall we?" You asked the pair. They nodded. Gon was currently being taught how to operate a boat. You knew how to operate almost anything, but it is pretty hard if you do not understand the basics.
