"Something is coming" Mike tells them as they all sit around the table in the Wheeler's basement.

It had been a few weeks since Will's return from the Upside Down, and the party had been doing everything that they possibly could to create normalcy for the boy.

Which of course included a Christmas time campaign. One that Charlie was certain they'd win, but not because it wasn't a good campaign - Mike had done extremely well with it - she just had a good feeling about it.

"Something angry. Hungry for blood. It is almost here"

"What is it?" Will asks in concern.

"It's the Thessalhydra, I'm telling you" Dustin huffs in aggravation.

"It's not the Thessalhydra" Lucas argues.

Charlie smiled in mild amusement before she tilted her head nonchalantly, stating
"Um, yes, it is"

"The Thessalhydra!" Mike exclaims as he puts the token on the table.

"Ha" Charlie lets out causing Lucas to smile at her. Charlie gave him a one-shouldered shrug in response causing Lucas to stick his tongue out at her.

"It roars in anger!" Mike exclaims before looking at Will,
"Will, your action?"

"What should I do?" Will asks looking at the other three.

"Fireball him!" Lucas exclaims.

"Fireball the son of a bitch" Dustin adds on, Will turned to Charlie for her opinion gaining a nod of encouragement from her.

"Fourteen!" Mike exclaimed,
"Direct hit! Will the Wise's fireball hits the Thessalhydra. It makes a painful"

Mike imitates a painful screech before crumbling to the ground,
"And then it crumbles to the ground. Its clawed hand reaches for you one last time and, and, and-"

Mike stopped making sound and slumped to the ground causing the rest of them to cheer.

"Lucas cuts off its seven heads, and Dustin places them into his bag of holding while Charlie leads the group out of the dungeon, being sure that there was no nest left behind. You carry the heads out of the dungeon, victorious, and you present them to King Tristan" Mike reads out to them,
"He thanks you for your bravery and service-"

"Woah" Dustin objects,
"Woah, woah, woah, that's not it, is it?"

"No, there's a medal ceremony" Mike explains to them.

"A medal ceremony?" Charlie echoed with a small frown,
"Surely you can do better than that"

"What's better than a medal ceremony?" Mike questioned.
