I get home from school with a stomach full of butterflies. I walk in the house with a little skip in my step but when I get home the house is covered in drawings.

"Holy shit" I say out loud

I spent the next couple of hours getting ready and listening to music. It's an hour past 7 and he's still not here.
I should’ve never said yes.

Then I see headlights pull in but it's not Billy. I hear a huge pounding at the front door. I grab the gun I keep in my room and slowly walk to the front door. I draw the gun up,aiming at the door and hide behind the chair

"Y/n" I hear from outside

"Steve" I say
I open the door and see everyone standing there.
"We have a problem" Hopper says

I'm sitting by the couch with Jonathan watching over will after they explained everything. Hopper's on the phone with the military or whatever and he is not happy. Mom is pacing and the kids are all sitting in the dining room. I hear Hopper get of the phone and him and Mike start arguing. I get up to see what's going on
"We can't just sit here" Mike yells at Hopper
"We stay here and wait for help" he says and walk to moms room.

All us kids sit in the dining room in silence not knowing what to say or do.
I can't believe Bob's dead,I would never admit it but I liked him. He made mom happy and he tried to get to know us.

Mike gets up and grabs one of the brain teaser Bob brought over for will.

"Did you guys know Bob was the original founder of Hawkins AV " he says walking back to the table
"Really" Lucas says
"Yeah he potioned had fund raisers and everything,pretty awesome right" he says
"Yeah" I say
"We can'tet him die in vain" he says setting the brain tease down

"Well what do you wanna do Mike. We can't stop those demo-dogs on our own." Dustin says frustrated
"Demo-dogs" max questions
" Demogorgans,dogs.... Demo-dogs,it's like a compound" Dustin says

"Ok" max says slightly irritated

" I mean when it was just Dart, maybe" he says
"But there's an army now" Lucas says
" precisely"
"His army" Mike says
"what do you mean"steve asks Mike
"his army, maybe if we stop him we can stop his army too" Mike says with a light bulb practically over his head

" ok,slow down,slow down" I say a little lost
" OK so,the shadow monster is inside everything and if the vines feel something like pain and so does will" he explains

"And so does dart" Lucas says
"Just like what Mr. Clark taught us, the hive mind"
"The hive mind" Steve asks

" A collective consciousness it's a super organism" Dustin explains
"This is the thing that controls everything, it's like the brain"
"Like the mind flayer" Dustin says
Lucas snaps, catching on.
"What" Max and Steve say
"It's a nerd thing" I say

"The mind flayer" Dustin says slaming to D&D book down
"The hell is that"hopper says
'it's a monster from an unknown dimension. it's so ancient that it doesn't even know it's true home. oh and it in-slaves races of other dimensions by taking over their brains using its highly developed scientific powers" Dustin rambles

" None of this is real this is a kid's game"hopper says pissed
"no,it's a manual and it's not for kids and unless you know something that we don't this is the best metaphor....."
" analogy" Lucas says
"Analogy, that's what you're worried about fine, an analogy for understanding whatever the hell this is"Dustin exclaims
"OK so this mine flamer thing"Nancy says
"Flayer, mind flayer"Dustin says correcting her

"Great so how do we kill it like fireballs or something" hipper asks
"Fireballs, no no fireballs. you summon an undead army because- because zombies you know they- they don't have brains and the mind flayer it-it'it likes brains." Dustin says looking at Hopper
"Or it's just a game" he says nervously looking away from Hopper

"I thought we were waiting for your military backup" I say
"we are" he yells
"even if they come how are they gonna stop this.you can't shoot this with a gun" Mike exclaims
" you don't know that we don't know anything" Hopper yells back
"We know it's already killed everybody in that lab" Mike says
"and we know the monsters are going to multiply" Lucas It says
"and we know that only a matter of time before the tunnels reach this town " Dustin says finishing

"they're right" We hear behind us.
We all turn around to see mom standing in the doorway
"I want to kill it" she says
"Me too! Me too! Joyce,ok, but how do we do that. we don't exactly know we're dealing with here" Hopper says

"If anyone knows how to destroy this thing it's will hes connected to it" Mike says

We fixed up the shed with sheets along the walls so will couldn't tell where he was. Hopper then realized that he was using Morise code to communicate. We translated it and it said "close the gate". Once we finished translating the phone rang we hoped will didn't hear it but It was too late, He knows where we are.

We heard the demo dogs from a far. I ran to my room and grabbed my gun and everybody else grabbed something to defend themselves with. You could hear the bushes rumble around the house
"What are they doing " Nancy asked
"They're surrounding us" I stated
We here more noises coming from all directions,then silence.

One jumps through the window and just falls to the ground.
"Is it dead" Max asks
We all here a creak by the door and the latch starts to open. And Eleven walks through the door.
