She stopped her music.

"Whats wrong?" I asked confused.

"Shhh-" She said.

She rolled down her window, and I rolled down mine.

"Stop the car." She said.

I stopped the car and she got out. I put my finger up signaling to pop the hood and she said yes. She opened the hood, but realized that the smell wasn't coming from there. We looked down to see a bright orange light on the road. She turned around and seen it.

"No." She said.

I didn't say anything. She started running so I ran after her. She got to the source of the light and dropped to her knees. She started crying and I just sat next to her and called the fire department.

"This your house darling?" the fireman asked her.

"Mhm" She mumbled, still crying.

"You guys need to go somewhere else, it isn't safe here." He said.

"Okay, thank you sir." I said.

"y/n it will be okay." I said to her.

"Just don't. Not right now." She said, still crying.

We got back in the car. I looked at her and thought "she's too perfect for this. she doesn't deserve this."

"You're staying with me. At least until we can find another place for you to live. Okay?" I said in a sweeter voice than usual.

"Okay." She said softly.

"I gotta stop at the warehouse. Wanna come in with me?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said.
