"KARL?!" Jimmy yelled louder.
"Karl this isn't funny!" Chandler yelled.
I started crying more.
First, Niki causes a scene for my sake, now Karl's missing? How could things get any worse?
Of course, it starts raining.
"y/n come on, get inside." Minx brings me inside.
"I want Karl." I say crying.
"Were looking for him. Right now just stay calm." She says.
"Call the cops. I can't anymore. I'm done." I say.
"y/n it'll be fine." Minx says, dialing 911.
"911, what's your emergency?" The dispatcher asked.
"I need to report someone missing." Minx said.
"I need the name please." She said.
"Karl Jacobs." Minx said.
"Okay. Brown hair, 5'10, blue eyes, 23 years old. Sound like him?" She asks.
"Yes, that's him." Minx says.
"Okay, we're calling out a search." She says.
"Can I place an amount for someone that finds him?" Minx asks.
"Sure, how much?" She asks.
"$15,000." I say.

"Two officers are en route." She says.
"Thank you so much." Minx says.
"You're welcome, bye-bye." She said.
"Bye." Minx said hanging up.
"A search was called on Karl and officers are coming to help us look, okay y/n?" Minx said.
"Okay." I managed to let out.
I'm so scared. What if he's not coming back? What if we can't find him? What if Clay had something to do with this? Oh my god. What if he's...dead?" I think.
"No. No. No. No." I say.
"It's okay, y/n. Just breathe." Minx said.
Niki and Drista rushed in.
"Minx, the police need us outside." Niki said.
"Okay, come on y/n." Minx said.
I got up and walked out with Niki, Drista and Minx.
"Are you Karl Jacobs' girlfriend?" The female cop asked.
"Yeah." I say, voice shaking.
"I'm gonna need some details okay? When was the last time you seen him?" She asked.
"Um, earlier before we left the restaurant, about 10:30-11:00." I say.
"Okay, did he say he was leaving or did he just disappear?" She asked.
"He- I can't do this, I'm sorry." I say walking away.
"I've been friends with her for 10 years, I know a lot." Niki says.
"Okay, did he just disappear or-" The cop asked.
"He just disappeared. I was yelling at Clay over there and he was there when I started but wasn't when I was done." Niki said.
I walked away and didn't hear the rest of the conversation. I was broken. I couldn't push all the bad thoughts away, so I just assumed they were true. I started crying. I felt arms wrap around me. I felt warm.
"It'll be okay, y/n. We'll find him soon enough. We aren't leaving until we find him okay?" He said.
I look up to see Jimmy.
"Okay." I say.
I buried my head in his chest. We sat down and he hugged me and comforted me the whole time. He held me close to him. I felt safe around him. Karl, Jimmy, and Chandler were the only guys I did feel safe around. Jimmy just got to me first.
-30 minutes later-
"Excuse me, we have news." The cop said walking over to Jimmy and I.
"Okay." Jimmy said.
"Mr.Jacobs was found a few miles from here around Clay's address." The cop says.
"Really? I started thinking my thoughts of him being gone were true." I said.
"I need $15,000 to give to the person that found him." She said.
Jimmy handed her $15,000 questioning why I made it so much.
"Why that much y/n?" He asked.
"The more money you offer, more and more people will try to find him." I say.
"Oh." He said.
The cops went to get him.
He got out of the back of the car.
"KARL!" I yell, happy to see him.
"Y/N!" He yelled.
"I missed you so much, I thought you were a goner." I said, hugging him, almost squeezing the life out of him.
"I missed you too." He squeaked.
"Where were you?" I ask.
"I have no clue. All I remember was being in the back of a cop car." He said.
Jimmy and I both heard the shattering words.
"You what?" We ask, hoping it's not what he meant.
"I don't remember anything. I remember Niki causing a scene, then my mind when dark and I woke up in the back of a cop car. That's it." He said.
"Oh no." I say.
"What?" He asks confused looking.
"We need to go to the library." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"You'll see." I say.
"I'm so confused right now." He says.
