ch 9 {Hunter Knows}

Hunter POV

It's been a month since the day of unity me and everybody else have been getting used to the new life style but me and Luz still haven't told everyone yet but I promised myself I wouldn't do anything until we were both ready other than that I think I'm getting a hang of this job I know I'm just dressing up as a bird attached to a tea cup but still what do I have to lose....yup what to lose I also had to stay there longer cause it was they wanted to test my skills on the counter turns out money is exactly like snails so anyway I had to stay there until it was night so everyone should be sleep when I get there

"Hey newbie, shift over you can go home now"

"Thanks" I said making my way out of the counter

I walked in the house with the spare key Mrs. Camila gave when I heard someone talking in the living room

"Why does Mr. Scowl want to meet with me?" said Mrs. Camila

"I don't know he won't tell us anything he just wants to meet up with you and the others parents"I heard Luz say

'Who's Mr. Scowl'

"I'll meet up with him only because I don't want this bad thing that you said would to happen to you if you don't get rid of your disc"

'whats a disc and why does luz have one'

"Thanks Mama"

"Now get ready for bed"

"Okay see you tomorrow"

She said walking towards the stairs until I stopped her

"What was that about" I said making her stop in tracks

"H-hunter?" she said looking at me in shock

"What are you doing still up"she said nervously

"I had to work late but you still my didn't answer my question" I said

"Oh nothing important I just needed to tell her something thats all"

"Okay then who's Mr. Scowl?"

"uh-"

"what's a disc, and why do you have one!?"

"I-...(sighs) I'll tell you but you can't tell the other's!"

"Well were already hiding something from them so you no I won't"

She smiles and says

"Follow me outside it'll be easier" she says walking the opposite direction of the door

"isn't the door this way?"

"were going out the backdoor out in to the backyard" she said in serious tone with made me a little nervous

"Okay"I said following

"So now will you tell me?"

"yes"

"Okay so who's Mr. Scowl?"

"A friend of my parents"

"Okay and what's a disc"

"Well I can't really explain because there are different versions of em and the one I have is very different than a normal one. And mostly because I don't even know what it is myself" Luz started rambled before cutting herself off.

"Let's just say it's a very important object"

"So why do you have one?"

"Mr. Scowl put it inside of me and two others when I was younger so it would keep me from dying"

"If it's keeping you from dying then why do want it out!?!?"

"Wow you heard a lot, so it turns out that the disc is back firing so if I don't take it out I will die anyway"

"But if you take it out won't your die anyway?!"

"well it turns out that if I get my body strong enough I won't die"

"But how do you know if your strong enough?"

"By using this!" She said showing me the watch she had on her rist and turned it on"

"Just by looking at this I can see how strong, fast, and how strong I have to get"

"Wow you seem abnormally fast for a human!"I said very shocked

"Why does everyone keep saying that?" She said a little bit sad

"Well is there anything else your hiding from me?"

"Nope that's all I know for right now"

"Hey you said that there was two other people with these discs wasn't their?"

"yeah why?"

"Well who are they?"

"Oh well their names are Jaxon and Dezlon but he prefers to be called Dez for short"

"Okay"

"So now can we go to sleep"

"Sure and I promise I won't tell anyone"

"thanks Hunter"

"No worries"

I still think luz is hiding something from me like that she's isn't telling me everything or I'm just being a little bit overwhelmed but if she is I will find out
