Flashback (Chapter 136 Spoilers)
Giyuu and Sanemi were fighting, due to Hashira's training. But, they fought so hard that their wooden swords broke. "All right, next shall we battle it out with our bare hands?" Sanemi had asked, cracking his knuckles. Tanjiro, who was watching the fight, interrupted. "Wait, Wait, Wait!! Wait a second! Don't kill each other!" Tanjiro started standing in front of Giyuu.
"Shut up. You're supposed to stay away from me anyway. But you've been sneaking looks at me, you scum." Sanemi said, glaring at Tanjiro. Tanjiro pouted. "Are you fighting over Ohagi? I can make enough for you guys if you want." Sanemi snapped. "Is that some kind of joke?!" "Huh? No, no! I'm serious!! Shinazugawa, you love Ohagi right? When I was training at your house, I caught a whiff of mochi and red bean paste. " Tanjiro said.
"And every time I came back, I smelled the pleasant aroma of green tea and ohagi, so I just thought.." Tanjiro looked away. "Shinazugawa... You like that?" Giyuu asked. "Ohagi is tasty, right? Do you prefer it coarse or fine? I loved my grandmother Ohagi and I-" Sanemi punched Tanjiro, knocking him out.

"What the?! Huh?! Giyuu!" Giyuu turned his head to see his little brother's figure. "Shinazugawa got angry and went off somewhere," Giyuu said, showing more depression than usual. "Oh, he did? Why were you guys fighting?" Tanjiro asked. "We weren't fighting. It was part of Hashira training. The Hashira are sparring with each other." Giyuu explained. Tanjiro shot an "Oh!" Face. "Really? Oh, so that's why... You were using wooden swords. Right, right.. Sorry for interfering." Giyyu sighed, "No, that's all right." "I couldn't express myself well and Shinazugawa was mad the whole time... But at least I learned what food he likes." Tanjiro sighs. Giyuu slightly smirked.

Sanemi stared at Giyuu, for too long. When Giyuu finished he looked in Sanemis's direction. Sanemi immediately looked away, embarrassed. Giyuu smiled in his head and walked towards Sanemi. Sanemi had a gay panic.

Sanemi started banging his head on the wall. Giyuu saw this and did the same. "This is fun~," Giyuu said "The fuck are you doing here?" Sanemi said, forehead bleeding. Giyuu did a slight smirk. "Well, this is my house. It's for the water pillar. So, what are you doing here?" Giyuu slightly chuckled, and that's when Sanemi knew. He was gay for this man. Sure he had a thing for Kanae Kocho, but she's dead so who gives a fuck?
