Year 845

The chirp of the bird was heard in the part of the terrain, two kids were staying under a huge tree. It was so peaceful and almost a perfect day, on the other side, a woman from Wall Sina is casually walking down the street on the way to her destination in Wall Maria. She's looking for someone named Dr. Grisha Yeager, the doctor who lived in Wall Maria, Shiganshina District with his family. People can't stop themself to stare at the woman, she is obviously a noble or a daughter from an aristocratic family. "Excuse me, madam, do you happen to know someone named Dr. Grisha Yeager?" her accent is evident that the woman is noble from the inner walls, luckily the old lady knew where this man lived and tell her the direction. When she finally reached the house, she gently knocked thru the door and a black lady named Carla Yeager opened the door for her. "Oh, hello!! come in Miss Evangeline!" the girl named Evangeline entered the house, "Hello Carla and Dr. Grisha! I'm sorry for coming without prior notice" she apologized to the couple.

"It's fine Miss Evangeline, you can come anytime you want. Anyway, what's the reason for your visit? Are you sick or something?" the man asked. "Oh no! Actually, I'm here to see my brother and I realized that you also lived here, so I decide to visit you!" the blonde woman answered while drinking tea that was given by the doctor's wife, the doctor stared at her knowing that this gir is not in a good relationship with her brother because of what happened 15 years ago.

"That's Lovely Miss, the kids also come soon," said the lady, the door also open revealing the two kids with woods on their back. "Sister Evangeline!!" the dark brown hair boy yell the moment he saw the blond lady, "Eren, hello! I see you're helping your mother" Evangeline calmly said to the boy named Eren. "Sister Evangeline, id like you to meet my adopted sister—Mikasa" Eren introduced the raven-haired girl to Evangeline. "Hello Mikasa!, it's nice to finally meet you. Eren always talks about you when he and his father visit in my home" she smiled when she saw that Eren slightly blushed when she says about that, Eren meet Evangeline when his father bring him to Smith Manor for a check-up since Evangeline usually suffered from cold. "hey sister Evangeline don't tell them!" Eren tells Evangeline due to embarrassment. While they're eating, the two kids are talking about something and the boy was acting weird.

The moment they arrive the father's boy was eating silently by looking at his clothes he seems going somewhere, and the raven black hair broke the silence "Eren wants to join Survey Corps" the mother was shocked after hearing that. She was scared thinking that her only son wants to join the Survey Corps which always do expeditions outside the wall. "Mikasa why did you say that! I told you it was a secret!" the boy named Eren was throwing a tantrum with the girl named Mikasa, he wants to shut her up knowing his mother won't agree to his dream."Eren, why do you want to become a Survey Corps? it's dangerous out there" Evangeline calmly, she was shocked but she knew how to hide her emotion.

"I want to go outside! Your elder brother is a Survey Corps right?" the boy answered which makes her stop eating her food, his right her elder brother who leave their family when she was just only 10 years old, its was also the year after their father was murdered. "Eren stop that! Don't mention her brother" Grisha said to his son, Grisha knew what happened and to Evangeline's family. "Yes, and he's dead. So I want to know your reason to go outside, hoping that it was different from my brother's reason" she lied about her brother being dead but she knew what his brother's reason was. "I want to go outside and exterminate the titans!" Eren proudly answered her, Eren's reason was different from her elder brother's reason but both of their dreams is impossible. At that moment, her brother's reason echo in her mind 'I want to prove my father's theory about the outside world!..... I also want to know why the King altered the memories of the people living inside the walls!!..... I want to give freedom to the people,..... a place where Eve can live without worrying about the titans'.

"Okay, Eren, when I came back I'm going to show you the basement" Grisha said as he show the key to his neck, "Really!? then see you!! have a safe trip" the boy bid farewell to his father and to the girl named Evangeline, but before she leaves she said something to the boy "oh Eren, do you happened to know a boy named Armin? he said that he leaves somewhere here in Shiganshina?" the girl asked. "Yes! why?" the Eren were shocked when she knew his blonde friend. "Can you give him this book? I really liked that boy when he shared his idea about the outside world" she actually met the boy when she heard it talking about the outside of the wall, she remembered her brother whose really fond of listening and learning about the theory their father always tell them. "Sure!!" the boy yelled. As soon the two left his mother told him that she still don't allow him about joining the Survey Corps.

He immediately runs away from home leaving her mother shouting in anger, while he was running in the street, he accidentally bumps into a man who was going to enter his carriage. Due to the impact both of them tripped, "I'm sorry sir!" Eren immediately stands up and ask for forgiveness from the man. Eren noticed that the man is a noble he thinks that this person is living somewhere in Stohess District since it's impossible to have a clothing like that in Shiganshina. "Oh, It's fine, it's also my fault I didn't look at my surroundings" the man smiled at him, giving him an assurance that he was forgiven. "I'm sorry again sir, have a nice day ahead!" the boy continues to run.

On the other side of the houses, he saw his friend being bullied, "Hey you jerk!!" a boy shout to catch the attention of the bully. The bullies are happy and want to have revenge on Eren who beat them before but that emotion disappears when they saw a girl behind Eren—Mikasa. "damn, Mikasa is with him, run!" the kids who bully the boy with blond hair run after they saw the girl name Mikasa running to their direction. "Huh you coward!!" the boy yell when he saw that the kid is running away. "Hey Armin, are you okay?" Mikasa asked Armin after seeing that the boy is crying, "yes, they think I'm crazy when I told them about the sea and sand that was written in the book" well who would also think that those things are true when no one can testify that was true. "That wasn't a story it was a theory" Mikasa said to comfort their friend. They also want to see what is written in the book, but it's impossible since there are so many hungry titans outside of the wall. "Yeah....." Armin felt sad thinking about how they can see the sea that was written in the book. "Anyway, Sister Evangeline asked me to this book to you!" Eren handed the book to Armin, which he immediately accept it. He knows what's the book all about, Evangeline tell him that her father is a teacher and it has a book about outside that is rare to find in any library since the books are passed down by generation. The author of the book is actually Evangeline's ancestor who lived when the wall wasn't built yet, it's actually forbidden to talk about outside walls. Her father and brother was murdered due to talking about it.

A Big flash was suddenly seen that cause a big earthquake that make them stand up and run to the capital of the district, and they saw a huge titan without a skin. "How..... the wall is 50 meters high!!!!" Armin can't believe what his eyes saw the huge titan make a huge hole due to the impact many rocks from the wall flies towards in any directions. This makes the two kids run to find their family when they realized that some of the debris is in the direction of their house.
