The Trial

It was dark in the dungeon where Eren was held, torch was the only source of light. In front of Eren is Commander Erwin Smith of Survey Corps on his side is Captain Levi. "Hey, Answer quickly, you trash" Levi was obviously pissed in this situation, "What do you want to do?". On the other side, Eren was tensed and creep out of the situation he got into, "I want to get into the Survey Corps, and kill titans". Levi was a little bit surprised by his answer "Not bad". Erwin was stunned by Levi's following words, "Erwin, I'll take the responsibility of this guy, tell that to higher-ups".

"It's not like I trust this guy, if this guy betrays us or rampages, I'll kill him immediately" Eren flinched when he heard what Levi was talking about, by the looks of Levi's giving him it was evident that this guy will literally kill him. Before his eyes shut he heard Captain Levi saying again "Add those words to the letter you will send to your sister, it's our advantage since we got your sister there" Levi knew that Evangeline had a huge influence on the Commander-in-Chief due to the fact that Evangeline is the matriarch of the Smith family that is part of the Carlton. If Erwin is the higher up outside the walls, Evangeline is higher than her brother inside the walls. They're positive that Evangeline and the rest of Carlton will attend the trial.

In front of the building where the trial was held was a group of Military Police including their commander, Nile Dok, he was a close friend of Erwin before they fell in love with one girl--Marie. They immediately form a line when they saw the carriage of Darius Zackly, the Supreme Commander. They immediately salute as the Supreme Commander went out of his carriage. "Is the Carlton here?" he asked Nile, aside from being the commander of military police, Nile was closed to Evangeline and treated her as his little sister. "No sir, even the Commander of Survey Corps" he knows that he will be meet his former friend but the only person he needs is Evangeline, she holds more power and influence than her brother, he hoped that Evangeline would take his side since he knows that their sibling relationship is not in the good state.

Erwin, on the other hand, was talking to Commander Pixis of the Garrison Corps, "Well, this is an idle talk while walking but, do you know that the Military Police want their hands on Eren Yeager too?" Commander Pixis asked Erwin. "Yes, there's an official notice about it yesterday. It also stated that Evangeline and the rest of the Carlton will be part of the trial as the judges" he knows that his sister is powerful and have an effect on the decision of the General, there's a little hope that his sister will take their sides since she was also part of the Survey Corps. "Yes, the judgment will be given by Carlton and Darius Zackly. I know that you don't have a good relationship with your sister but I hoped you asked her to help you in this trial." Commander Pixis knows that Erwin will never ask for his sister's help but he hopes that he would, " Aside from being a soldier in survey corps she's my sister I know that she will take my side" he confidently answered, he knows that there's really a possibility that his sister won't take his side, "You're confident huh? Your sister was very closed with Nile, your former friend. They treat each other as brother and sister more than you." that statement makes him remember the time he was leaving their homes, the face of his little sister begging him to stay. He know he was wrong for leaving his sister and because of that his sister took all the traumas and responsibilities their family have, he wasn't there when Elliot and their mother died leaving Evangeline to grieve alone.

Eren woke up seeing a brown-haired girl with glasses, "So you're Eren! Are you okay? Is there no change?. Sorry we made you wait, but seems like you'd be able to get out of here. But you have to put this on" as the girl speaking to him, a tall man walk beside the girl. As they walk together the girl immediately introduces herself as Hange Zoe a Squad Leader from Survey Corps, and the man name Mike Zacharias. "We have arrived but, don't worry! It's better if you don't get any explanation after all, but you have to believe in us."
