Chapter warnings: Stupid teenagers doing stupid teenagers shit (jealousy, jealousy romanticization, fight, breakup)

Note: This chapter was a bit more tricky for me cause this song is something like a more "sober" overview of the moments described. In the chapter these said moments will happen, you know? The song itself is kind of like Wanda and Y/n's perspective when they rethink what happens in this chapter. Anyway, I just felt it would be important to say that haha enjoy!

On Friday, after sleeping over at Natasha's house to finish an assignment the two of you have procrastinated for weeks to do, you arrive at school with exhausted faces from lack of sleep.

At the entrance you say goodbye to Natasha, who spots Maria Hill with some friends in front of one of the classrooms, and you cast her a knowing glance before going on your way. In front of your locker, Pietro and Wanda await you with amused expressions.

"She's always with that guitar, isn't she?" The boy comments playfully as he sees the instrument hanging behind your back, making you smile as you hug him in greeting. Next to you, Wanda utters a short sound of agreement. "Mhm, I think she likes it more than she likes me."

"That's definitely not true, for you I would throw this guitar away and never play it again." You argue as you wrap Wanda in a big bear hug, making her giggle softly against your neck as she reciprocates.

"I would never let you do that." She assures you humorously when you let go of her and you smile wholeheartedly. "I know, that's why I love you." You reply, giving her a long kiss on the cheek and feeling it rise as Wanda smiles in appreciation.

The next moment, however, the brunette turns her face around, pecking you on the lips gently. "Happy Valentine's Day." She whispers against your lips and you smile, repeating her earlier action before responding. "Happy Valentine's Day, my love."

Pietro mocks a vomiting noise afterwards, and you and Wanda pull away from each other amidst giggles. As the girl playfully nudges her brother, you bring your attention to your locker to grab the books you'll need for today's classes. As soon as the door opens, however, a pile of letters goes off balance, falling to the floor around the three of you.

"Someone has been noticed... by the entire school." Pietro comments humorously, and you giggle as you bend down to pick up the affectionate notes and love letters, the blond man bending down to help you soon after. "Yeah. I won't complain, at least I get free chocolate."

The comment elicits a chuckle from Pietro as he hands you some envelopes, and you smile as you hold them out. His sister, however, who is not at all happy about your joke, much less about all the gifts and letters in your locker, crosses her arms, a huge scowl on her face.

"Okay," Pietro then says, dragging out the word awkwardly as he claps his hands in front of his body, "I guess that's my cue to leave. I'll talk to you guys later." He says goodbye, holding the strap of his backpack as he walks down the hallway, leaving you alone with a clearly annoyed Wanda.

"Hey, what's wrong?" You ask with frowning eyebrows as you put the cards back in the locker. "Nothing." She replies dryly, her gaze away from yours as she rests her back against the metal of the lockers next to yours.

"Alright..." You say puzzled, a bewildered grimace on your face as you push the gifts aside and pick up the books you were going to get in the first place. When you finally put them in your backpack, you turn to Wanda again.

"You barely kissed me when I arrived. Come here, give me a proper kiss." You ask, already leaning toward the brunette, but the girl puts her hand in front of your face, preventing you from getting any closer, and you frown.
