It took me a few days to recover from my injuries. I remained in bed and thought about what Leroi said over and over again. My great grandfather murdered that woman, no he murdered that Demon.

Even if she did look like me it didn't mean that she had a kind and tender heart.

My great grandfather was probably acting on instinct alone, Demon's weren't supposed to be real after all, and they sure weren't supposed to be here. She probably got what she deserved.

I let out a tired sigh before finally clearing my thoughts. I was about to close my eyes when there was suddenly a knock on the door. It opened and Sire walked in. "Are you alright?" He asked.

I nodded, "Never been better."

"Leroi wants to see you then."

"Okay." I reluctantly got out of bed and followed him to Leroi's study. The Demon barely looked up when we walked in. He was probably still flustered by what I said, but from the looks of Sire he was probably still unaware of it.

"I've brought Aden here as you requested." Sire said.

Leroi finally looked up at me, "Sire excuse us." He said.

"Yes Sir." Sire bowed before taking his leave. I remained standing there while Leroi continue to look at me with unreadable eyes. He suddenly stood up from his desk and approached me. Then once he got close enough his placed his hand on my bruised cheek and caressed it.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Checking your wound. Does it still hurt?" Leroi asked.

"Alittle.." I muttered. I was starting to get a bit uncomfortable with him being so close to me. He suddenly leaned in closer and for a moment I thought he was going to kiss me but he only leaned in to whisper something into my ear.

"Today you'll be cleaning the entire house from top to bottom. You're not to miss a single spot." He said before pulling away. He gave my cheek a gentle pat before walking back to his desk. "Get to it."

Without a word I ran out of the room slamming the door behind me. What was that? I asked myself as I went to get the cleaning supplies. Leroi was really starting to piss me off. But I had not choice but to comply since I wanted to live long enough to escape one day.

I headed downstairs to began cleaning there first. I swept, moped, and scrubbed the place spotless, before starting on the upstairs rooms. I found myself back in that Library with secret passageway. I started dusting some of the books off and while I did that I hadn't notice someone enter the room.

It wasn't until I turned around that I bumped into a mysterious man with black hair and matching black eyes. He stared down at me without a word before wrapping his arm around my waist.

"H-Hey, hands off!" I pulled away from him and fell back against onto one of the book shelfs.

"Alice, you really resemble her, little boy." The man said.

I was surprised that he noticed the resemblance as well, but I still had no idea who he was.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Stefan." Leroi suddenly appeared, and we both looked at him.

"Brother, how are you?" The demon showed Leroi a smile.

"You didn't tell me you were coming to visit." Leroi didn't look happy to see him at all.

"I wanted to surprise you, but then I stumbled upon this beauty." Stefan laughed, "He really looks like our Alice, you know?"
