Chapter 7

'Hey Will, are you nearly ready? You're supposed to be on set soon' Ali shouted from the spare bedroom. She was sporting a pair of wide leg jeans, a cropped t-shirt with a black bomber jacket over the top and her Jordan Dunks; wearing her hair in a high pony, one that could put Ariana Grande to shame and she had slightly more make up on than she usually would using a new foundation that you could still see her freckles through. Ali looked good, really good and maybe this time around it was to impress someone.

'I'll be just one second, I'm just putting my shoes on!' Will shouted from his bedroom.

A couple of seconds later, Will walked into the spare bedroom wearing his comfiest clothes and a pair of sunglasses, hiding the shame he felt from having a hangover on a shooting day. After saying goodbye to Rupert they headed for set, Ali was practically bouncing off her seat as they entered the car park, Will knowing her all too well knew exactly why she was acting like this but decided not to say anything in case it ruined her mood.

As they walked onto set, she was bombarded by hugs from all the cast except for the one person she wanted to see the most, Kit. She thought to herself 'why am I so excited to see a boy I have only known for a day? How is it that after only 24 hours he was able to make her feel like a schoolgirl again pining over her first crush? She decided she didn't care and just let her excitement predict her mood. Soon she was joined by Bash, Joe, and Yasmin as they all sat round drinking coffee the topic of discussion was targeted at herself.

'So you and Kit looked like you really hit it off last night' Bash started 'it's nice to see him get along with someone so quickly he can be so quite sometimes'

'Oh really, he didn't see shy around me maybe a bit embarrassed that I walked in on the shower this morning' Ali said with blush flushing to her cheeks reminding her of this mornings run in

The group fell to silence and stared at Ali shocked

'Im sorry you did what!' Yasmin said practically hanging off her chair wanting more information

They all started giggling

'Well, I didn't mean too, I thought it was Will and I. And I. I didn't see anything, but it was so awful'

Bash interjected 'seeing Kit Connor in the shower was awful for you'

'Well, no not in that way anyway' Ali's blush creeping further and further up her face 'anyway I now think I've made it really awkward, I tried to apologies, but he just made some smug remark about me now seeing him naked' Ali threw her hands over her face no wanting the group to see how flustered she had become.

Bash, Joe, and Yasmin all looked at each other with smug looks on their faces

'What? What's that look for?' Ali questioned growing increasingly concerned

'Kit seemed to have a bit of a spring in his step this morning, didn't he guys' Yasmin started

'Yeah yeah he did actually' Joe agreed with her

'That's definitely not due to me walking in on him in the shower, it's probably the smoothie I made him before he left, Will says they're lethal!' Ali exclaimed

The group just looked at one another, raising eyebrows at each other 'yeah yeah whatever you say' they all said sarcastically in unison.

The trio had to go film a scene so Ali was left there alone with her thoughts and her intrusive thoughts kept on creeping up reminding her that Kit would never like her and that she was never good enough for someone like him. She decided to start reading her book to distract herself, she put her headphones in and started listening to Harry Styles, his songs always made her calm down. She was laid out on Wills couch in his dressing room, as she was so engrossed in her book she didn't even realise that Will had walked into the room
