The pair had been at Ali's for about an hour just sitting on Ali's bed talking about life, Ali couldn't believe how much she was able to open up to Kit after only knowing him for just over a week. Neither of them had brought up the comment that Carlo had made about Kit being her boyfriend. She had only known Kit for nearly two weeks and believed it would be way too soon to put a label on their relationship, a kind of pressure that neither of them needed at the moment with Kit still living away for at least another 3 weeks and Ali's final and her training for the commonwealth games coming up.

'Hey, should we watch a film?' Ali asked sweetly

'Yeah, sure what do you wanna watch?' Kit questioned staring at her

'Rocketman' Ali answered with a cheesy grin on her face

'Not a chance! I hate watching myself act!'

'But you look so cute in it, I love hearing your singing' Ali flashed a flirty smile at him

'You heard me sing earlier in the car, don't try and blackmail me into this Alexandra' Kit said as he grabbed her into a cuddle, tickling at her sides, she tried to squirm away put Kit just hugged her even tighter

'Okay, okay' Ali said as she tried to catch her breath from laughing so much as Kit tickled her, 'How about Notting Hill'

'Oh yes! That's like my favourite film, I have such a crush on Hugh Grant!' Kit was now smiling from ear to ear

'Doesn't everyone!' Ali said as she laughed at him leaning to grab the remote to put the TV on, Kit just gazed at her as she did this, he loved just looking at her taking her all in.

As they watched the film the pair slowly crept closer and closer together with Kit eventually putting his arm round her shoulder and pulling her into his side, she lay her head on his shoulder and he gently placed his on top of hers. Their legs were intertwined underneath the blanket Ali had placed over them, they had never cuddled this closely before not even when they slept in the same bed, they both felt so content and happy. Kit finally built up some courage to mention Carlo's comment.

'Alexandra, about what Carlo said earlier'

'Don't mind him he's just nosey, don't take any notice' she chuckled lightly 'we've only known each other for two weeks and I don't think either of us need any more pressure in our lives right now' Kit just nodded, feeling like the air had just been taken out of his lungs, he wanted to be with Ali but he understood where she was coming from, Ali noticed his shift in mood; moving her head off his shoulder and looking at him, had she said something wrong? Did he want them to be official? Ali's mind started swirling.

'Kit, is everything okay?' she asked so sweetly Kit felt like his heart melted

'Yeah of course, I totally get what you mean it's just I' he paused for a second their eyes still locked 'I really like you Alexandra, you mean so much to me already and you're right we only met just over a week ago, but I think I've liked you since I laid eyes on you in Will's dressing room' Ali didn't want to say anything in case she ruined his thought 'you're so beautiful how could I not but getting to know you on the inside has made me fall even harder. You have such an amazing personality, you're so driven and committed and like wow you really know how to play netball' Ali let out a sharp laugh covering her mouth with her hand. Kit grabbed her hand and moved it away from her face 'don't do that, I wanna see your beautiful smile'.
