"Carlo, I told you many times, Hindi gagana itong makina nato! Stop trying to fix it already! Give up!" Saway sakin ni Alice.

"Grr.. Shut up! Making something takes a lot of work!"

"Tsk, why are you even doing such things when you can just use magic!"

"Mana is not always reliable you know! Besides, Sino kaba para pag sabihan ako? I'm the one working here! not you! Mind your own business!"

"Alice, Just let him be." Biglang pumasok si Cathy sa kwarto giving me and Alice a stare. " Agang aga nag aaway kayo?"

"It was Alice who initiated first!"

"That is due to the fact that you are wasting your time on these pointless things!"

"They. Are. Not. Pointless!"

Catty just massaged her temple while looking at us in disbelief. "Alice, Carlo love doing these things, Bakit mo ba siya pinakaealaman?" she said. Right?!

"Ugh.. They're just annoying sometimes! Making those stupid sounds and getting exploded after! Carlo is just wasting our resources and his own time!" sagot ni Alice. Why you!

"Alice, Kagaya ng sinabi ni Carlo kanina, Hindi lahat gumagana agad sa unang pagkakataon. They need time to be improved and Carlo can learn base on his experience right now to make it happen. "

Ah. Catty is on point! " That's right! It comes with Trials and errors!"

"hush!" Tigil ni  Catty kay Alice sa pagsasalita. She looked at me and placed both of her hands on my shoulders. " Carlo, to avert similar disputes in the future. Do your experiment somewhere else, please. How many times you've tried and failed to get your machine to operate, Alice can't take it anymore." sabi nya.

I pouted but agreed to her advice. "fine~. I'll just create my own workshop near the woods then." I said. I started cleaning up my things and put my tools in my small wagon.

"If you excuse me... I'll be on my way to create my workshop now."

Umalis ako sa kwarto habang hawak ang hawakan ng wagon para mabilis ko ito madala.

While I was walking, I was thinking of the possible ways to improve this machine I'm working with. Hmm.. Maybe I misplaced the wire? Or maybe I gave it too much electricity? Oh wait. There's this odd placement of gears near the main energy source. Maybe that's the problem?

Lumabas ako sa mansion. I headed to the tree house Chester made for me. This was supposed to be my workshop but it was too small to fit my test Subject 301 so I had no choice to move inside. Ayaw ko naman iwanan sa labas si Test Subject 301. Baka kasi kung ano gawin ng ibang mga guild members sa kanya. Alam ko naman gaano kalakas mga trip ng mga yon.

I sighted. If only I can work with someone who has the same interest with machines or technology. Unlucky, This Guild I'm in now don't have anyone interested on it except me which sucks. No one appreciate science like I do.

Kinuha ko ang maliit na picture sa bulsa ng aking lab coat at pinagmasdan ko ito. It was a picture with professor Edward. The most intelligent professor I've met in my entire life. Not only he exceed in making machines but his philosophy in life is the best! Ahh! Just imagining working with him is the best thing that could happen to my life!

But alas, Professor Edward was announced dead after the attack in the Dwendel. Monsters started invading the City and left no humans within it. They all got their mana and successfully dominated the area.
