It's time to finish what I started.

I know the truth now. Connor really does care. He couldn't show me in person so he showed it using words.

I'd changed something inside him. I was amazed at that.

I get up and grab some clothes from my closet before making my way to the bathroom to shower. It's only nine and the rest of the house are not yet awake so I try to be as quiet as possible.

I make an attempt to plan out what I'm going to do, what I'm going to say but I don't quite know the right words. I mean, I've never had to do this before.

Despite only knowing him for a short time, I wasn't going to let all I had been through with him go to waste. Yet, I had to see him, I had to tell him the truth.

This feeling, I couldn't even begin to describe. It took over everything. I was reluctant to admit how I felt, and this, this was undeniable.

I didn't want to hurt him but I knew I had to. Jordan. Did I want to do this?

I couldn't stop thinking about the way he hurt Connor. Maybe he deserved to be hurt too. However, I wasn't going to let myself be brought down to his level.

My overthinking made me waste what felt like forty minutes in the shower before I finally got out. If I didn't, Allison's water bill would be hitting the roof.

Hopping out, I pull on some black leggings and Connor's t-shirt from yesterday and dry my hair before straightening it.

I take an apple from the fruit bowl in the fridge and leave Allison a note telling her I'm heading out to town and if she needs me for anything, she can phone me. Grabbing my bag from the corner of the living room, I throw it over my shoulder and head out the door, closing it gently behind me.

As I walk down the street, I look back at the place that Connor once called home and I can't help but think: will he ever return?

He was driven away from his home by someone he used to call a friend and I wouldn't forgive him for that.

I hop on the bus to town, paying for my ticket and as I sit down, I hear my phone buzz.

New message(s) from: Unknown

Look who's back.

Just when I thought I'd got rid of my anonymous harasser, I seemed to be wrong. I put my earphones in and let Sleeping With Sirens take me away from this. I ignore the message but minutes later, there's another.

I know you were with him last night.

I decide to perk up the courage to reply.

With who? Why can't you just leave me alone? x

Don't play stupid with us, Caitlin Carter. We know you were with Wright last night. Disobeying us is never a good idea. Wright knows what's coming.

I know what you did to him before x

My phone doesn't stop buzzing as this person replies, quickly and eagerly.

So, you have been with him. I mean, how else would you know? We warned him, me and my boys. Tell Wright to watch out. Someone... Someone could be put in serious danger thanks to his actions.

Wait, who's going to be in danger? x

My heart pounds in my chest and I'm too busy staring down at my screen that I miss my stop but it's okay, I'll just get off on the corner. As I step off the bus, helping an old women off whilst I do so, my phone buzzes in my pocket.
