"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Allison asks me for the seventh time now as she props her head around the living room door.

"I'm sure," I reply, glancing at the irritating women behind me.

"Help yourself to whatever is in the fridge if you get hungry."

"Okay," I say as she grabs the keys to the mini-van and leaves the room.

Allison is taking the kids out for a pizza and maybe avoiding this outing is an unsociable thing to do, but I'd rather not spend my Saturday night with them. The thought of it is enough to make my head ache.

I've been back from shopping at Churchill Square with Emily an hour and Allison has done nothing but pester me about accompanying them to their weekend event but I am consistently rejecting her offer.

I prance out of the living room on the balls of my feet when Allison calls that they are leaving now. Flynn and Shane are running to the mini-van, fighting over who is sitting up front whilst Cassie and Gemma stand by Allison's side. I feel sorry for them. Being younger makes it so much harder for them to get out of atrocious outings like this.

"We won't be long," Allison calls as she heads out of the door. "You're welcome to go out."

"Can we go?" Cassie asks. I'm thankful I don't have to be in her situation right now.

"Yes, yes, of course."

I smile as I see them leave. "Bye."

Allison shuts the door and the house falls into a peaceful silence. Bored already, I advance through into the living room and make myself comfortable on the couch, ready to catch up on the latest soaps. Honestly, being the new one here and not having many friends sucks because you end up spending your Saturday night alone.

I bombard my friends back home with several messages, explaining the situation and how bored I am here but I'm suddenly distracted from replying again when the sound of a ringing doorbell lashes through the house whilst Sleeping with Sirens plays through my phone.

Running across the house to get the door, I open it to find no other than Emily standing on the porch as she looks at her phone. Her head immediately shoots up when I step outside and a smile appears on her face as she recognises me.

"Hey," she greets me.

"Um, hey," I say. "What are you doing here?" I stroke a strand of my hair behind my ear. I'm embarrassed because I'm sure I look a mess, wearing leggings, a band t-shirt and having my hair up in a messy bun.

"I came to err, ask what you're doing tonight."

"Watching some T.V, why?"

"Cancel that," she says. I raise an eyebrow, questioning her words. "Chase's friend, Luke is throwing a last-minute party and of course, I'm invited. You're coming too."

"Wait, what?"

"No if or buts, you're coming. Your first party here," she says over-excitedly.

"I'll need to find an outfit," I blurt. "Give me five minutes." I realise I have nothing better to do so I don't reject her offer.

Emily laughs. "Come on then, I'll help you."

We ascend the staircase and make for my room. I pull out several outfits out of my small wardrobe but none seem right. Emily suggests my red dress, decorated with it's own sequinned design and I relent in wearing it, simply because I can't make a decision.
