The Beginning.....

chapter 3:Mysterious boy

I woke up completely shocked and started at my ceiling. Then I felt that I was completely wet. I was completely shocked that I peed. Eww gross. And then I saw maya holding a small bucket.
"Did you throw water at me?". I asked her.
"Yup".she smirked.
Thank god I thought I peed. I shook my head and asked her angrily "why idiot".
"Do you what time it is?". Maya asked.
I saw my clock and then looked at maya."what the hell is this. I'm late. Why didn't you wake me up early. You idiot". I said annoyingly.
"You are idiot. I had called you many times. You didn't respond so I had to throw a bucket full of water at you. Though it was fun".she smirked and left the room.
OMG. I had that dream again. That raven. Oh god I'm literally loosing my mind. I heaved a sigh.
I took a hot shower amd put on my jeans and a shirt and a jacket. I combed my hair and made it to a messy bun. I went downstairs and saw my family.
Mom was making breakfast , dad was reading newspaper and as usual maya was putting her makeup.
"Mom I'm going I'm already late". I said and left my house.
Oh gosh. I'm really late today. Today's first lecture is of Mr. Stiffers. He teaches us math. He is a middle age man and completely annoys me.
I hate that subject so I hate him.
Today after school I have to go to shopping with Katherine.  She never buys at one place. To buy one dress it takes her one hour. My energy is draining just thinking about it.
I reached school and opened my classroom door. All sets of eyes were on me. Somewhere shocked,  some had fear and  all.what the! What happened here?
I sat on my usual desk and asked Katherine besides me.
Her eyes were red due to crying. why in  the hell she was crying. Even though in this state she looked beautiful. She has beautiful blue eyes which I had ever seen. She had great curves. Oval face and pouty lips. Her bouncy blonde hair till her waist looked beautiful.
"Hey kath what happened? Where is Mr. Stiffer?". I asked her.
Mr. Stiffer is never late to any class and my sixth sense which I don't have is telling me that something bad had happened here.
"What? You don't know? "She asked completely shocked.
"What am I supposed to know? "I questioned.
"Mr. Stiffer..... vinnie....Mr.stiffer is de....dead". She stuttered and cried out suddenly.
"What?" I asked completely shocked.
I'm sad but first I'm totally shocked.
I don't like Mr. Stiffer but kath liked that guy. She always inspired him. She always said that he was a great teacher and all. She loves math. She just want to be like Mr. Stiffer.
"He...he died yesterday night. Cops said his body was found in the outskirts of town near forest. And.... it was hard to recognise him..... his body was fully covered with bruises and that too deep cuts. Like claws and that too big claws. The cops said it must be wild animal attack". She cried
I listened and then it hit me
" the claws..."I whispered. Shocked was understatement I was completely froze in my place.  The raven. No no dreams don't come true. It must me be the wild animals I assured myself. But I didn't believe it. God.
"Vinnie... vinnie" .kath called
"Ya?". I asked
" I'm scared".she sobbed and fear was in her beautiful eyes. I pushed my thoughts and looked at my best friend to console her which I'm completely sucks in that department.
"Hey kath...you know...it...it will...will be... alright".I stuttered and embarrassed.
"You completely sucks at consoling". She laughed a little.
"Hey don't rub it". I said annoyingly which was a act.
She laughed.
"Lets lighten the mood and go shopping. You want to buy a dress for kevins party right? So lets go." I said cheerfully for her.
"But-"
"No buts".I interrupted her.
Our principals annoyed voice came through the speaker and told us that today the school will be closed due to Mr. Stiffers case.
I and kath directly went for shopping.
"Hey this is one is nice". I said. Pointing to the cowboy outfit.
She rolled her eyes and said
"Tell me why am I friend to a fashionless girl"
" coz we are friends with each other since diapers and we get on each others nerves".I said last part sarcastically.
"Oh shut the hell up".she laughed.
At last she bought a dress. A black knee length dress. Sleeveless and fit her curve in every good part.
"Hey thanks for coming".she said
"You didn't leave me a choice".I said playfully.
"Hehehe....come I'll drop you home". She said
"Nay. I'm going to james house".I said
"Okay. And be carefull vinnie on your way okay. And say hi to james from me". She said.
"Ya sure. And you too take care k. See ya" I said and left.
"Vinnie tell james to come at Kevins party okay". She shouted from behind.
How can I forget.
Kath and kevins are an item.
What kath sees in that jerk.
I don't like him at all. He is a player.
I rang the doorbell and after a while james opened the door. Giving me confused look. He was in his sweat pants and shirtless. His abs was in view. His hair was in mess and his eyes were sleepy.
"Don't you go to school" I passed james and went in the living room.
" yup I go. But today we got off". He said still sleepy.
"Why".I asked curiously.
"My English teacher is dead". He said flatly.
"What? How? ".I was shocked
"I don't know. My friends told me it was some animal attack with claws and all". He said
"You know our math teacher Mr.stiffer" I asked
" ya the one you hate". He chuckled
I rolled my eyes and said " ya. He died yesterday. Same animal attack and claws and all. That's why today our school is closed".I said
"Wow. Okay lets play contra". He said.
I stared at him completely dumb founded.
"What? Don't you think there must be some serious reasons behind this animal attack? "I shouted.
" so what. What can we do. Its the job of the cops vinnie. Now come on lets play". He said. Seriously, I can't reason with this guy.
I sighed and we played the contra game. Which I had won hundred times.
Another win.
" Vinnie you are really something. I'm completely impressed". He said admiringly.
James and I know each other for 7 years. When I was 10 yrs old and went to arcade to playe games then james saw me and challenged me. I accepted it and won. From that day onwards we became best buddy.
He and I are of same age only but he goes to different school.
"James. Kath invited you to Kevins party this Saturday".I said
"No vinnie I won't be coming. You know right what happened before" he said
" ya I know". I said. Previous time when in kevins party. Kevin gave james a can of Pepsi but it was alcohol mix. So they both got into a fight.
Kevins a jerk.
"Okay. I am going home. You know my sis she will tell tails to mom about me".I sighed
"She is nice vinnie. She cares about you".he blushed.
"Oh yeah I know how much she cares about me".I sarcastically said.
" I know Jamie that you like my devil sis".I smirked and he blushed again.
"No no nothing like that".he said instantly and blushed into deeper shade of red. I laughed loudly.
"You know what I know you very well. So, be a man go and have guts to talk to her about your feelings".I said. Wow I'm advising james in relationship subject which I'm completely sucks in that subject.
"No. She will kill me immediately". He said sadly.
"Then you agree with me". I said
"Agreee?"
"That she is a devil from hell".I shouted. It feels good to call her devil aloud.
"Hey don't say like that, sometimes she is nice you know". He said.
Then you agree with me.
I sighed.
"Okay Jamie. I'm going. See you." I said and reached the door knob.
"Vinnie shall I give you a ride home? You know right the animal attacks and all".he said concern in his voice.
"No Jamie I'm alright" I said and left.
James lives in outskirts of town near forest so everyone think its dangerous but I think it's cool.
While heading home I saw something from my periphery. I saw that huge raven from my dream.
Fuck. Dreams don't come true.
I can't even move my eyes from that raven. I was completely paralysed in my place, my breathing became heavy. That huge raven was staring at me and I was staring back just like from the dreams.
Dreams don't come true. I closed my eyes and prayed that it was just my imagination and opened my eyes slowly and saw nothing. Thank god it was just my imagination. I took a long breath and slowly released it .I was about to turn around when I saw that huge raven was flying. I opened my mouth too soon.
I can't run my legs wqs frozen in the place. The temperature got colder. I braced myself for warmth but my hands were already cold. The raven was coming at my direction. Oh god no. Please I don't want to die. I'm too young .I'm just 17 yrs old. Dreams don't come true. I'm going to die. Help me I shouted but no one was there. The street was deserted just like in the dreams.
Suddenly something happened to that huge raven. That raven was.....changing/transforming? .I blinked many times. But it was changing. Correction changed into a human being.
Am I going crazy. He is hardly five foot away from me where I'm standing. I started at him.
His dark black feathers were braided into his hear. He was looking pale and probably my age. He is highter than me. And eyes god those eyes were mesmerizing black. You can't even see pupil. He wore black jeans and black shirt and black jacket. All black.
He was giving me a wicked smile. And in a blink of an eye he stood before me. I started him. And I suddenly got dizzy.
"Hi". He smirked  and I passed out.
