It was another average day at school Ashton had just started there and was still to learn how things worked around here, he got his timetable and a student to show him around and help him find all of his classes. Since it was a fairly small school they put classes together, he was in the same class as Michael, Calum and Luke. Michael was the class clown he was soon to find that out, Michael would sit right up the back of the class make jokes, say random sentences and sleep when he can. Calum would sit in the middle of the class on his own he would concentrate but his mind would wander off and when he got asked a question he would snap out of it and have to ask again what it was about and then there was Luke he would sit at the front of the class he was like the school nerd he never skipped class or school he would do his homework and get it in all on time and never stuffed up.

Ashton went and talked to the teacher being the new kid was always scary but he was used to it he got told to take a seat anywhere. He looked around the room those 3 boys standing out to him but he went and sat on the other side of the room away from them because he wasn't quite sure what they were like just yet. Ashton was the loud one he always speaks his mind and says what for, whenever a question gets asked he's the first one to answer.

It was time for first break Calum went out to the oval and kicked the soccer ball around for some practice, Michael went to go and see his so called 'friends' but decided against it and went to a spot he had found away from people, Luke went to the library to finish off some work while Ashton wandered around finding out where his other classes were. Luke went up behind him "hi, your the new kid right? I'm Luke." He says smiling

"Hi, yeah I'm the new one, oh and I'm Ashton." He says smiling

Luke takes Ashton's timetable from him and looks at it "your in all my classes, stick with me and I'll help you out." He says handing it back

"Oh okay, thank you." He says starting to smile

"We have music next, the teacher is really nice and we do whatever we want. So what do you play? I play the guitar." He says as he walks over to a bench and sits down with Ashton following

"I play the drums." He says sitting down next to him

"Sweet, I've always loved music. I'll be able to help you with who to associate with and who not to associate with, they all have their groups you have the jocks, the popular kids, the nerds, music kids and the outsiders, once you figure out who you are and talk to the, they will either accept you into their group or they will reject you." Luke says as he points out the groups

"I've always been a outsider, I move around a lot so I don't really get into groups or get close with anyone it's just how I have gotten around keeping my head down and out of the way of the popular kids." He says looking around as Luke nods as they get ready to go into their next class
