his house

no one's pov:
the two of them got out the car and headed into the boy's house. He shouts for his brothers to come downstairs and say hi.

Genevieve's Pov:
"Heyyy Genevieve" I heard from upstairs, I already knew it was Nick just by his voice.
"Yooo" Chris said as he dapped me up. I said hey and we all headed off to the kitchen. We were just having small talk which is really awkward and I don't know why it's a thing but oh well.

I was still kinda uncomfortable around Nick and Chris because I barely know them, and I guess Matt noticed. He came and stood next to me. I didn't even realize that I was fidgeting with my rings till Matt put his hand on mine to try and get me to calm down. I don't think Nick and Chris noticed thank god.

Nick's Pov:
Oh of course I noticed that Matt put his hand on her's but it's not like i'm gonna put him on blast it's whatever. I looked over at Chris who im assuming also had noticed Matt's hand placement. He looks at me then at Matt, then back at me and back at Matt's Hand. We gave Matt a look and he shock his head letting us know not to say or do anything. We all just kinda ignored it and carried on with the conversation.

Matt's Pov:
I was standing next to Chris and Nick in the kitchen, we were all facing Genevieve and she was looking back in our direction but would look down a lot. I noticed she was fidgeting with her rings. I walked over next to her and I placed my hand on her's in hopes that it comforts her a little more. I don't know what happened but all I could focus on is that I had my hand on hers, and she didn't move her hand one bit. "Matt literally you just met the girl no way, this is wayyyyyy to fuckin fast" I literally had to keep repeating that in my head.

Genevieve's Pov:
Ya ok I might like his hand on mine, in a friend way of course. I tried not to pay attention to it and just continued the conversation i'm having with his brothers. "u guys wanna go somewhere?" I just wanted to go out honestly. The weather was amazing it was kinda cloudy but not cold with a light drizzle but if you opened your window or stepped outside it smelt like there was a thunderstorm, I live for these days.

"Bet can we get McDonald's" Is all I heard Chris say before Nick decided to jump in and ask if we can eat the McDonald's at the park. Of course I said yes and Matt was already half way out the door when he heard McDonald's.

Matt drove us to the McDonald's by the park where he found me earlier that day. "What are you guys getting and it's my turn to pay" I heard Nick shout that from the backseat. Chris was also sitting back there with him. I felt bad I told Matt that Chris could sit in the front I could sit with Nick but he insisted that I sit in the front because he was worried I would be uncomfortable and he doesn't want that.

Nick took our orders, I got a 6 pcs with medium fries and Matt and I decided that we would share a drink since that would be cheaper, we obviously had different straws duh! We headed over to the park and sat down on the benches closest to the car. Chris and Nick sat facing Matt and I. I started bouncing my leg up and down which was normal and I had done this for years now. I genuinely don't get how Matt catches me doing things like that, like he has superpowers for this type of shit i swear.

He put his hand on my knee to let me know that everything's ok. I stopped bouncing my leg but he didn't move his hand away, He kept it there for a good 30 minutes.

The four of us just talked for hours and hours, laughing, getting to know each other, etc. I'm starting to get comfortable around the two brothers. I really needed this.

By the time we decided to head home it was 1am so I had to sneak in through my window. I said my bye's and climbed up my tree. The car hasn't left yet, I guess they were just making sure I made it safe.

I opened my window waved bye once again and closed my window. I got ready for bed trying to make as little noise as possible. I looked at my phone for the first time in hours. "holy shit, tomorrow's Monday, I HAVE SCHOOL IN THE MORNING!"

I set my alarm for 5 am and headed straight to bed. I tired too fall asleep right away. Instead all I could think about was Matt putting his hand on my hand and on my knee. I smiled at the thought of it and ended up falling asleep soon after.

Matt's Pov:
After we made sure Genevieve got inside safe we made our way home. Yes we did know tomorrow was a school day but we always stay up this late so it doesn't really matter to us.
"so what's up with you two" Chris said. Nothing what do you mean, i replied. I obviously knew what he was talking about I'm not that dumb. "your such a liar we saw you put your hand on hers in the kitchen and then you put your hand on her knee at the park" Nick said getting all defensive and shit. "One, in the kitchen I put my hand on her's to stop her from fidgeting with her rings since she was uncomfortable, and at the park I put my hand on her knee because she was nervous and I was trynna let her know that she has nothing to worry about" I was out of breath my the time I finished saying that. "oh my bad" Chris said and Nick let out a little laugh, honestly so did I.

I parked the car in the driveway and we made our way inside.  Today was a successful day to say the least. Genevieve got more comfortable around my brothers which is great! I also felt really happy today, I don't know why. "ok we got school tomorrow i'm going to bed cya" Chris called out as he walked up the stairs. Nick said goodnight and also headed up. I wasn't just gonna sit downstairs by myself so I went up to bed too. I passed out the minute my head hit the pillow, god I don't wanna go to school tomorrow.

Authors Note: My bad I haven't updated in awhile I've been swimming almost everyday but i'll get back to it I swear😭 Anyways what'd u think of this chapter? Good? Bad? Lmk if you have any suggestions of what you want to happen!
