"mommy pretty please with a cherry on top i don't wanna go to schoollll" Genevieve pled to her mother.
Every child has complained about not wanting to go to school before, but for Genevieve; it was for a reason no one should go through.
Most kids hated going to school for the fact that they had to do real work, only part those kids would enjoy was lunch or pe. For Genevieve she hated school for another reason. It wasn't necessarily because of the work, she enjoyed the work and succeeded in school since an early age. For her school was were everyone picked on her, wether it was because of her style of talking, how she looked, what she ate, or how smart she was; they always found something to pick on her for.
"Sweetie I get it you don't like the work, no kid does but you have to go. Now stop complaining and get dressed." Her mother said to her 7 year old daughter.
At an early age Genevieve knew she could never tell her mom what was happening at school, it would break her.
Genevieve and her mother drive to school in silence. Her mom tried asking her about what they were doing in class, Genevieve was more focused on trying to figure out which classroom she'd sneak into to eat her lunch in this week.
Her first subjects throughout the day were easy for Genevieve which lead her to finish her work before most if not all her classmates which meant she had free time.
"Miss.Dots can I pretty please with a cherry on top read a book?" Genevieve had asked her teacher. The teacher replies with a simple nod.
Of course the usual little laughs and kids pointing fingers always seemed to happen, but as long as she had a book in hand nothing else mattered.
⚠️FAST FORWARD 7 YEARS⚠️
Genevieve is still getting taunted by kids, but she still chooses to not tell her mother about what has been happening, but what if one day those kids had done something they've never done before, what if Genevieve's mom finds out?
