Chapter 1: Academy Enrollment

It was a bright and sunny morning in the village known as Konohagakure. The sky was clear, a single cloud not blocking the sun as it shone freely on the village.

The villagers were in a bright mood as the weather was perfect this morning. The young kids were excited, with today being a big day for them. 

Today the Konoha ninja Academy was starting its enrolment process just like it has done every year since its foundation decades ago.

Every citizen of the village, rather there from a shinboi family or a civilian, was allowed for admission procedure by the laws laid by the Shodai Hokage himself. 

A family of three consisted of a young four-year-old boy who had a peach skin tone with short raven hair, green cat eyes, and little black cat ears, and a black tail. He wore a black kimono with a white Panther head on the back of it and grey pants along with black standard sandals. As well as a peach-skinned woman with long raven hair tied back into a ponytail and green eyes as well as bigger black cat ears than the boy and a black tail. She had on a black shirt with the panther head on the back as well and a grey shirt. She wore navy blue ninja sandals. The member was a man with short coal-black, a bit lighter than the woman, and female hair as well as green cat eyes, black cat ears, and tail. He had a grey turtleneck shirt with the white panther head on the back of it as well. He also had on black pants and black ninja sandals.

The family was from the head family of the pansa clan and is currently walking through the village. The young boy had excitement on his face as he held onto his mother and father's hands.

"Come on, let's hurry up!" He shouted excitedly as he dragged them at a faster pace.

"Alright, Kenji, chill. We don't need to rush the Academy not going anywhere." The woman said, smiling at her son.

"Your mother, right son," The man stated.

"Well, I know that, but I don't want the Academy entrance forums to be gone before we arrive," Kenji said with a pout.

"It's okay. They won't be it still early, and besides, we're almost there," His father said as he pointed up ahead at the academy building that wasn't that much farther away.

"Yes, we're not going to miss the chance for me to enroll!" Kenji cheered with a big smile on his face.

He was excited to be able to begin his journey toward the path of achieving his goal.

Kenji and his parents are now at the academy, waiting in line for an enrollment forum into the Academy. Kenji looked at the other kids that were hoping to enroll and noticed a few that were from his clan.

"Next..." The chuinin sitting at a desk said to the crowd of people gathered here to get an entry form for their kids that we're entering the academy.

Kenji felt his father pick him up and carried on his shoulder. Kenji smiled and laughed as he enjoyed his father lifting him up.

As they reached the desk, his mother handed the chunin their paper with their number in line.

"Alright, here you go, fill this out and submit it to the Admissions office by seven this evening," She instructed the head family of the Pansā clan.

"Thank you, miss," His father said as the family then walked off to head home and fill out Kenji's enrollment forum so he could enter the Academy.

The following morning...

The streets of Konoha we're bustled with happy villagers going about their way, running errands, heading to work, and opening their shops for the day.

His mother was carrying Kenji so he wouldn't get lost in the large crowd of people while walking theough the streets of Konoha.

After filling out the form and getting it submitted and approved by the Nidaime hokage himself. Since to enter the Ninja Academy, your entrance had to be approved by the hokage to since he decides who enters the academy.

So today, the Pansā family was heading towards the shopping district to buy Kenji's books and a new set of ninja tools for his first day at the ninja academy starting in a couple of days.

'Yes, in just a couple of days, I start the Ninja academy. Meaning I can start my journey to becoming a shinobi my clan can be proud to have as the next clan leader.' Kenji thought, smiling from his place in his mother's arms.

The Shopping District...

Tatsuki grabbed Kenji's hand as he was placed back on the ground after Kiyoshi put him down as they reached the shopping district.

"Alright, we head to the ninja tool shop first, then the bookstore," Kiyoshi said as she grabbed Kenji's other hand as they walked towards the clothing shop.

When they arrived at the ninja tool shop, they searched for some shuriken and kunai that were the right size for a four-year-old boy.

"This set of shuriken and kunai are the same size as the old ones we used for her training," Tatsuki said as he spotted a set of black shuriken and kunai.

"Excellent, and I found a holster to put them inside of that should fit on his leg," Kiyoshi said, holding up a grey pouch and holding it next to Kenji's leg seeing it was the right size.

"Then let's pay, and then we head to the book store," Tatsuki said.

Kiyoshi nodded as she picked up Kenji and carried him over to the counter to pay.

After they paid for the ninja tools and holster, the family was headed toward the bookstore.

"So for the first year, she needs books on charka, history, and introduction of ninjutsu," Tatsuki said.

"You already taught me a good amount on that. Now I have to learn them again," Kenji questioned.

"That's true but to become an excellent shinobi. It is important to review what you already know," Kiyoshi explained.

"Understand, mother," Kenji said.

"They will also need a book on explaining Genjustu and other types of justu. As well as a book on charka natures," Tatsuki said. "The first year focus on introductions and reading and writing. While the second is a bit more about learning how to use the skills."

"Alright, Kenji, let's go get your books, and then we'll eat some lunch," Kiyoshi said, signaling her son to come closer to them.

"Okay," He said, getting closer to his parents as they walked.

Kenji followed his parents through the book store as they walked to each section to get the books he needed for her first year at the academy.

After an hour of grabbing all of the books Kenji needed.

The family was now on their way back home to eat a nice lunch.

"So, what are we having for lunch today?" Kenji asked.

"I know. How about I cook some Miso Ramen, one of your favorite meals," Kiyoshi said, looking at her son.

"A little celebration for starting your first day at the academy tomorrow," Tatsuki said, ruffling his son's hair.

Kenji smacked his father's hand away and stuck his tongue out, not liking his father ruffling his hair, before his father chuckled, picked him up, and placed him onto his shoulders.

Kenji sighed in relief as he wrapped his arms around his father's neck, happy to have a break from walking.
