Chapter 4- A New Home With A Better Family

During the night, when it was time for the shift change, Cale gets up and walks to the front of the tent deep in thought about what happened the other day. They have faked his death and met with Choi Han, however, the story is not going down the same path as normal. Cale, being used to staying up and being alone from his previous lives, stares up at the stars in the sky. Not a single star is covered since there are no clouds tonight. He has never felt so peaceful, so calm and happy; yet there is anger hidden deep underneath his calm exterior as his Henna brown orbs start to scout and take in his surroundings.

He knows that the others are sleeping, he knows that there is no one around them, as the closest being to them is around 10 kilometers away, so he shouldn't have to be so guarded. However, his being, his instinct, is screaming at him to be alert, to be on guard. He understands why. He wants to make sure no one gets near his family so that they won't run away from him. They are his and his only. Only him can touch and love them, no one else. Not even the Gods will be able to touch them without consequences.

If the others, if his family, knew about this part of him would they run? Would they scream and call him a monster, just because he doesn't want to be alone in this unfair and cruel world? Just because he wants them to live, and only them to be alive with him so that they can just lean and be next to him; would they try to attack and push him away?

 A heavy sigh leaves delicate smooth and pink lips as he keeps a lookout, every once in a while looking into the tent to make sure that they are there and okay. They won't mind him doing this, right? He turns back to the front as some wind Elementals come to him and bow to report on their findings.
 

"Your majesty, there seem to be no monsters lurking around the place you told us to look."

"Good, keep watching that area, we will be making our way there slowly. Now off you go."
 

They fly off to tend to that area, where their new home will be. His Henna eyes cloud over, getting sucked into his thoughts. Soon, the sun paints the sky with such warm colors as it rises making the stars slowly fade away from sight. Ron walks out and pats the pale blood-haired man on his shoulder making the young adult leave his mind. The elder butler smiles at his master before taking him inside the tent. The sight of Hans and Beacrox chatting as they prepare to make breakfast graces Henna and chocolate orbs, the oldest out of the two young servants tries to make the younger one bathe but ends up giving into the young one's stubbornness.

Ron chuckles before taking Hans to a nearby water source to bathe, leaving just Cale and Beacrox in the tent. The youngest walks up to the brunet and looks over his right arm at the different foods coming out of the spatial bag. Beacrox looks at the shorter male and hums in acknowledgment before picking up the ingredients.

"What will we be having today, hyung?"

Beacrox explains to his dongsaeng the meal as they walk outside to the fire pit. Ron comes back with Hans, the dye almost out of his hair dying the poor towel, before taking Cale to wash. That day there was nothing special as they traveled to Harris Village to get to the Forest of Darkness. Soon, however, they fall into a rhythm with camping and running. When they make it to the village, it is covered in fire and ash with some corpses lying on the ground, they were wearing black suits covered in blood, covered in deep wounds from a sword. Of course, Cale knew who did this slaughter, it was Choi Han.

Choi Han killed the assassins and buried the villagers' remains before running to Rain City. The oldest two out of the group react negatively to the corpses, as they smell of Arm the organization that massacred their family. Hans reacts negatively as well, however, no one knows why. No one knows why he shakes as soon as he senses that smell, that aura, that comes off of those bodies. Yet their anger burns in their eyes, wanting revenge for everything that Arm has done to them. Cale breathes and leads them away from the broken village, into the forest beyond the wall.
 

The group runs until they see a boulder, about 3 meters taller than Cale, and stops. The older three look around, checking for any monsters, as the youngest travels in to get the ancient power, Super Rock. Cale will never admit it but he misses the powers' voices that would talk and scream in his mind just like the Elementals. Soon the three are allowed inside, them being shocked at the underground villa made out of marble, and chose rooms with Cale getting the master room to himself.

Ron watches as his son, Beacrox, puts on gloves to clean the whole dust-covered mansion as they force Hans to lay down in his room on the 3rd floor, closest to the stairs. Beacrox tends to the mansion with his father as Cale starts to plan out how to get his next ancient power, the Vitality of the Heart.

Cale normally would get the Indestructible Sheild first, however, he needs both the main base and a place for his family to live. This large and gorgeous mansion would be big enough in case his family grows, like adding a certain poor soul to the mix on the way to get the healing power. The new master of the villa starts to write out a plan to do two of three things: 1) start to get the rest of his ancient powers; 2) start creating his organization, Universe, to get information about Arm, or White Star; and 3) try to solve the mystery about Hans. He smirks as he writes plans on how to create and build his organization with him and his family being the foundation.
