“You weren’t there yesterday”, I say
And look up at the sky.
It is clear blue and pale white here and there.
The Sun smiles at me.“Where?”, you ask instead
In a tone of annoyance.
As if I’m a stranger
Who interrupts your precious time with your lover.You were sitting up in a chair
I was sitting down on the green grass.
When was the last time
We stood together side by side?I look away from you
And look up at the sky.
It is clear blue and pale white here and there.
