The next day after school Mike and will we're hanging out in Mike's basement. They do this everyday and have been since 2nd grade. Usually the whole party comes too but today was one of the rare occasions when it was just Mike and will. They were watching a movie and sitting on the small couch in the corner of the room. Suddenly a jump scare comes on the screen and instinctively will reaches for mikes hand. Mikes stomach is instantly filled with butterflies. He is now staring at will, their hands still touching slightly. Will realizes that he's staring and quickly moves his hand away and blushes. They continue to watch the movie with nothing but butterflies and silence.

A few hours later and it's time for will to go home. Mike is upset, but then again he always is when will has to leave. They share an awkward hug and will leaves. Mike can't help but admire the brown haired boys beauty as he gets on his bike and rides away. "No,stop your not gay. You just love him as a friend. Totally platonic" Mike thinks to himself.

That night Mike got no sleep. All he could think about was will and the way he felt when their hands touched earlier that day. Now that he thought about it,he's always sort of admired the boy and his beauty. But these..feelings,they're new. And Mike does not like it.
