THE PRIEST OF SEMI MADE PREDICTIONS

Early In the morning, the king is yet to be out of his lounge, the priest came with a full-force fire, saying the king of semi land
I came to seek you, he came out to attend to the priest, sat down and he welcomes him saying
I greet thee, the great priest of semi land, may the; he welcome the king saying may the gods of our land and your father be with you. Hope you are doing great well. Yes, my priest.
The Gods, of your fathers, ask me to want you if you don't want to see their, anger. So what is right, make a sacrifice to them, they said, some strange men have come to develop their land with their concert, make sure you appealed to them before anything is done in our land.

So what have they ask for, my priest, the king asked. They ask

Two heads of slave human
Two heads of people from the neighbouring village.
A blood spring at the edge of our town

My the gods of our land and our ancestor have mercy, the king said I shall continue tri reign and do what exactly the gods of our land want. Is better you do it fast before they get angry. The Priest said; my great priest I will do exactly what they want it my priest. He stood up saying I shall be on my way to my linage. The king gave a warm greeting saying "May you go on in peace" thank you and the priest left.

They sat down for some minutes alone thinking and he sent for la lope to summon the chiefs to the palace, for further discussion. It was like a joke the ran fell while the sunshine to the king. Loop said as you said I will do it, my king. He left and he went to deliver the king's message to the king.
Left an hour later the chiefs enter the palace one after the other, with curious behaviour, they were thinking about why the king suddenly sent for them.
They all sat down and watch the king.

My chiefs of semi land, we are in great shape now, the priest came for a visit this morning to tell me about the predictions of our father about the white men's development in our village here.

The chiefs look at themself saying really.

The King continues by saying this is what they want;

The King reply what shall we do, should we call the warrior of our village to go to the neighbouring town to fetch two people this night, then two slaves will be killed this night and by tomorrow, we will kill others from the neighbouring village.

At early noon, the king wore red clothes and with all sought fetish accessories, he ordered the two slaves out of the place to igboirumole, The slaves were crying saying they will die, The soldier ant-man put out his duties and cut their heads and sprinkles the blood at the altar of their forefather, the two head was buried inside the ground by the king while he says incantation before, it was done.

The next morning, la lope the great warrior came with some men two of them, capture at the neighbouring village and were kept in the village courtyard.

The two chiefs with King chief kola and Balogun said my king may we see the end of the village in peace. The King said AMEN. The night at the Igbo crumple, we shall offer the heads to our gods, but the chief has to be present tonight so we can all go to sprinkle blood at the edge of our village. My king, we shall be present tonight.

Late Night at Igbo crumple heads was given out as a sacrifice to the gods, and the chiefs all gather late at night while the villager are sleeping to sprinkle blood and the edge of the village.
After this was done they dismiss. The next day at the palace the priest came to the palace and told the king, the gods of your father have heard and taken your sacrifice. The chiefs all make a joyful noise and the priest said to them to celebrate and he left the palace.

And there was a great celebration in the palace and the chiefs with palm wine, all sought of fish and meats.


The war between Sami land and the neighbouring village

the next day there was great trouble in the town they were all running from a war that had just van into their town. the villager all ran to the palace telling the king about some strange men that enter the village shooting gun, beating them and killing the people.

the King ask the warriors of the town to come out with their guns and their warrior weapon and get ready to save the people
The great warrior, la lope came out to stick the troubler of the village and he went to the battlefield with the other supports about 6 of them. They started the fight with a bomb gun shooting over their opponent

I'm the great warrior of this town. You people of the area come to in our district to cause trouble and my king has sent me to bring your heads home we shall finally win the fight I bet it with. The opposite said
Don't try to be wayward to us we are fire killers. We will destroy your town for coming to the village to kidnap our people for sacrifice.

I'm a great warrior of semi land I will kill you and cut your head to the palace, the king has requested for your heads, it's not possible who did you think you re.

I'm la lope the great warrior of semi land, don't try me. The battle went on in glaze, as they challenge them, with arrows and guns shooting. I will kill you, la lope said, the whole warrior, face tackling themselves, la lope came out with a sword and cutlass and started cutting off their heads, at the end the warrior of semi land or the battle.

La lope carried the heads of the victims and took them to a place to give to the king, as he was sent laloope to do

My king, I'm here with the heads of the troublers of this village has you have said my king; thank you la lope may you leave long to protect and fight victory for this village.

The warrior was jubilating and dancing outside the palce; singing a melodious song. And shouting the gun up to the sky. While lalope went to see the king.

Queen of semi land  was with the king and her daughter, she said my father I have come to check on you and celebrate the victory of the battle,! my daughter. The King smiled saying I have ever known you as a blessed child to me, you are the incantation of the child's my mother predicted to my father after she became a water that she going to come back.

Queen said, my beautiful daughter, have you heard what your
Father said, you are a child of valour, no one better than you do! Thank you, my mother. Mother can you tell me about the story of your mother who is an incantation.

She was the Queen of the palace of this semi land a long-time. She was a water magician, any pregnant woman in the village comes to her for delivery. She was called the " water magician" she loved to be seen in the white.

She has been helpful, in the village and also in the palace all the villagers believe so much in her. Here in the palace, there was particular water she asked that nobody must touch, if anyone touches the pot of water she will fly away and become water. And the king has much adorned her and also another queens. But there is this particular queen who envies her so much that, there were time clash breaks between them that they fought over the king of the village giving her attention more than the other queen. One day the Rivalry queen touches her water just to make her angry. Immediately she turns to a stream. And she said for the people of semi land to be helped, they have to worship her every month with fruits like

Orange, banana, sugar can, mango, yam, and honey. All villagers must come there to worship him so that they will replenish the anger in her, and also they won't be suffering.

Then she said she will still come back to the palace, and when she comes back everyone will know she is the one. the water she leftover in the palace must be carried by a princess like you on the day of celebration.

That’s very interesting story my father that means the coming celebration of our traditional festive will be carried by me;

Iyalode of semi land came to pay a visit to the village concerning the festive period coming. I greet thee iyalode of semi land, you have come to visit me today.

My daughter will be the one to carry the water to the stream and also my son will be the one to dance with the white pigeon dove in his hand; have called the chiefs to tell the people of semi land to come with

My king I have come to tell you as the iyalode of semi land we will be giving the villager some set of white cloths to wear. Hun iyalode you are such an intelligent woman. My king! What about the construction of the place by the white men. Don't worry iyalode the construction of the building starts tomorrow at least they came to the palace yesterday. To tell me about their opinions on how the palace new building will be.

Getting toward the festive celebration the white men came to the palace to reconstruct the palace. The construction took place for four days like two days before the festive celebration. Everyone came to the palace and check out the new construction. The villagers started singing

Amen, out your mind at rest you don’t need to be educated; father I want to go check on my friends I’m coming back soon. You can have your way. He left his father and went to his friends house.
The prince friend is farmer, but he didn’t gobfarming because of the palm wine celebration. We have palm wine celebration today my prince. And I have decided not to go farming today. My friend the prince laugh we shall rock the palm wine party together. They for the palm wine joint. At the joint they sat at one corner and all the youth in the village were presents at the palm wine joint. Getting there all the youth at joint start shouting the prince of our land you are welcome. He replied every one saying I greet you all and happy palm wine joint day ehhn we greet you too my prince. The palm wine rapper came to meet him and ask about his menu menu.
The prince said pls give me a bug bush meat and two bottle of palm wine, he ask them to take is friends order too. And the prince ask the the attendance to give everbofh at the joint one bottle of palm wine each and a big fish.

As the party was rolling, the  youth started haling and singing for the prince to show him appreciation for the free palm wine and fish. The prince start a conversation with his friend, imagine this morning I as my father to give a chance to be educated as you people her, but my father declined saying no to my request, what did you think I can do?
The friend says you know your father is the best of this village, he us the king and the king takes over everything in our time I think you should listen to your father and don’t go against is wish. Aright my friend. But  I can as well help you out by given you a tutorial class every evening. I will be coming to the palace to teach. I have a lot to offer because the white men are really trying for us.
Most of this will do, his to start the morning in school with assembly, where the white people will make announcement. Then will start the class with subject like

Then, they take us out of class to do farm work, planting harvesting and managing those plant. The evening ends with biology practical and agriculture. Wow my friend I will really love it. If you come to the palace to say hello;  I will, my prince I think when the white people wants to take us to Lagos at one kings college you can sneak out of the palace to lagos and school which you be free then.
The prince smiled that is why I love to tell you my mind piles. You give wise advice I love you are right by my side, but why are you going to school again in Lagos; well so that we can well informed and to start our senior secondary school, you know theee whit hasn’t started it here.
Oooo, that is good, but are you coming back to this village when you travel with the white men? Yes they decided to take about 10 of us to Lagos, while 4of them will go to London with them; when they are about leaving the Africa country.
The village youth haill the prince for buying them lot of pal. Wine and bush meet to celebrate the palm wine day. The palm wine joint became so noisy as the plan drinker sing mad enjoy themselves.

Mama don’t worry, in nit being an disobedient child; is just I want my you to cover up for me. I went out today with my friend, irewole, told him about my unable to go to school, and he said toe he is going to help me out by coming to the place eveverday and he suggest him coming to the place her everyday to teach the little they were thigh in school ever day.
Good that is a good decision but don’t come out of this palace for I won’t be in suppose of it. If you father hear about it you might be granded from going out of the palce, so’s whattt did you want me to do for you?
Mama I want you to cover up for me, don’t let anyone in the palace know about my plans on Getting educated, I have heard you said by the prince mother, i will cover you up but don’t attend class in school I wont be  in support of that.

Mama my friend will start tomorrow and I want to ask for one thing from youaam, what did you want again? I want you to cook for both us as he come, you know it won’t be easy when a teacher teaches and student listen to learn. At a point we will be hungry. So please cook for us always.
