THE PRINCE RETURN HOME



Early in the morning information was passed around about the Baloguns health. He was deeply sick. Everybody in the village went to his house for greetings. The king also sent his greetings to the him



On a very occasion evening, the Balogun of semi land pass away and messages were sent down to the king's palace about the sudden incident. The information went viral in the village. The king ordered his body for a spiritual rinse.



His body was sent to the palace, getting to the palace the king wept to say. One of my chiefs just pass away it's such a sad thing to hear. He wept out and the other chiefs came down to say a word in the palace. His body was rinsed thoroughly. By one of the herbalists in the village. The second day after the rinse; he was buried in his compound. The children all cry with the wives.



The next day all the chiefs assemble at the king's palace to discuss vital information concerning his death. Cheif Ayan asked the chief a question, saying so who will be our next chief of Balogun. The king said either we choose one of his sons or my son from the Lagos will be given the post in other to push him back home. Cheif kola said; my king but we need to be extra careful in choosing my king because known of cheif Balogun children are ready to be picked as the next Balogun of this village is either we go for your so as the next Balogun of this village.




The king said, are you all in support, cheif kola's ideal. They all respond well, saying they are all in full support. The next day king sent for his son in Lagos to tell him about the plan of making him the chief of Balogun land. The two chiefs to Lagos to deliver the message. Getting to Lagos they went straight to his place of work. He was happy to see; he said im joyous seeing you chiefs in my office and in Lagos for that matter, what can I offer you; the prince said, he immediately sent for two soft drinks for the chiefs. He welcomes them deeply saying I greet you all my chief, why have I seen you all in Lagos.



They said the king your father has sent us here to deliver a message to you, said my chief kola I hope all his well the prince replied; chief kola said your father the king ask us to tell you to come home very soon, for you shall become the next Cheif Balogun of semi land. The prince became overwhelmed as the message they deliver to him seemed stressful for him to comprehend, he said but the chief Balogun is still alive. Chief kola said you are wrong he passed away just last week. The prince said really, I didn't hear about it.



My chiefs go home and tell my father, I'm now a doctor, with a wife and two children here in Lagos I can't come to be a chief hm educated now. The chiefs said it was wrong for you to be obedient to your father. And again it can lead to a curse for you. Your father will he said about the sudden change in you. My Papas, I'm not being obedient but, I'm being candid here, go back to the village and tell him about my answer. The chefs felt worried and they immediately stood to return in anger.



Getting to the palace they meant the king with his new wife pregnant and having a conversation with King. They got back from Lagos late at night. My king, we are back from Lagos the chiefs said. So how was your journey and how is the outcome of the message given to you. Chiefs kola said my king may you reign long in our village. Amen, the king said, your son decline our message he said he can't fake the offer of being the newly Balogun of semi land.



The King breathes In saying our gods you have promised to bring my son bale home for me what is happening. My son isn't listening to me. The King said to the chiefs what can I do now. Then chief kola said let me invite the priest here to tell us what we can do to invite your son home. That is a good idea. As I have welcomed your idea now, go ti the priest and tell him. I want to see him in my palace. Okay my king I will do exactly what you want. He went straight to the priest's house. He meant the priest attending to the visitor.
