Heavy rain pelted the ground as a result of the storm that was here to wreck their lives,  the man on the chair trembled under the pricing gaze of the wild man standing before him.

"Zaryab—" a loud slap resounded the room and the man on the chair spurted out the blood in his mouth.

"We don't have to do this. Just name whoever sent you and we'll be done" the man standing before the cripple ran a hand through his hair feeling the moisture on his hands getting smeared on his forehead.

His wife was going to give him the word if she knew about this.

With his lips pulled together in a straight line Zaryab halted at the man who tried his level best to be sleek and unseen but he was fairly inexperienced for this job.

The man in his late thirties coughed and heaved a long breath feeling every bone in his body aching from all the torture he had to live with on both ends if his boss found out that he had gotten caught.

"Come on. Just a name it isn't that hard" Zaryab sighed making the man lift his head up and grin.

"Even if you kill me, Zaryab. I won't answer to a woman's pet dog—" Haroon wheezed coughing more blood, the sight was gruesome to many but not for the handful of men present in the room.

Zaryab opened his mouth to answer him when the door opened and a frantic looking Ahmet walked in.

"She's left the premises to go after him."

"God this woman"

"Ma'am, Mr Hamza Alam Khan" the man beside Hamza introduced him to the woman who had her back turned to him. Her dark hair fell on her back in healthy waves which moved a little as she turned around to face him.

Warm brown eyes widened as they met his and Hamza found himself getting lost in those pools of chocolate. Her face was round and rosey, with a small button nose and subtle pink lips.

"Talia?" Arham frowned looking at the young girl who was supposed to be her boss but wasn't.

"Where did Ms Usman go?" He asked making Talia smile gently at him before responding.

"She had some work come up last moment, if you had been a few minutes early you might've met her." Talia informed making Arham click his tongue at the irony.

"Well..." He spoke turning to Hamza who had his eyes locked at the younger woman, Hamza turned to meet Arham's gaze and the boy flushed a little at the teasing look in his senior's gaze.

"Hamza this Talia, Mahtab's assistant and Talia this is—." Arham introduced them and was cut off by Talia's chirpy tone.

"Hamza Alam Khan, you've mentioned twice now" she said with a polite smile and an annoyed edge to her tone.
