It was the week after their departure, after that night the two didn't come face to face with one another and neither of them had any idea how the other was doing. Their eyes looked lifeless and the world might have just worked against them to push them in a situation where neither could say or do anything. If there was ever a more suitable word to describe their relationship it was unfortunate, for anyone who knew them they were the couple that could only come together in moments of pure disaster, their love bloomed amidst the disaster and it was hanging from the very few threads that was left of it.

"Why?" It was a question Hadiya had been asking Zoya since the moment Zahan left and Zoya had been silent as the night. Her eyes were focused on the target and the bow in her hand was stretched ready to be let go to let the red spot feel the force of the arrow. His mind had surprisingly been quiet, not eating her up for what she was doing to the man who meant her no harm but there were things she had forgotten during her days of misery, love was one of them. Her only sense was to protect and attack. The speed of her arm increased as she released arrow after arrow making the target fall backward at the end of it and she only snapped out of it when Hadiya shook her to stop her from hurting any of the staff.

She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply before stretching her right arm feeling Ahmed take the bow away from her and Zoya shook her arm to ease the tension in her shoulder.

"It's been a while since a practiced" she mumbled walking to the table to pick up her phone, it was however snatched out of her hand as Hadiya made her face her way. Zoya met her friends expecting gaze and looked away as if silently dismissing her concern.

"How do you think this story will end?" Hadiya once again asked and was met with silence.

"Zoya" she yelled watching the tall girl walk away and Hadiya turned to the man beside her. Ahmed lowered his head respectfully before walking behind his boss. Hadiya sighed and sat on the chair near her, it was useless trying to make her friend speak, it was useless to remind her how much she had been in love with her husband.

It was as if Arbaz had erased her feelings for Zahan from her mind and Hadiya wondered what could've happened seven years ago that now Zoya was a corpse, a bloodthirsty demon out for violence at all times.

"Allah '' Hadiya exhaled as her shoulders dropped and she waited for her son's swimming lesson to end, if she had not come with Hameen then she wouldn't have even met Zoya, the woman had gone into hiding.

"Why are you here?" she jumped at the sound of her husband's voice and she turned around to face him, his face was stoic since the day Zahan had moved in with Zoya. One didn't have to be a genius to know Zaryab wasn't very fond of Zoya since the day they met and somewhere deep down Hadiya knew that Zaryab blamed Zoya for all that had happened, her kidnapping, her getting jumped and beaten. Her reputation going down, he blamed her for everything but he couldn't leave her astray because he cared for her and he knew Zoya would never intentionally hurt his family.

"Zaryab?" Hadiya called out to him and Zaryab hummed sitting down beside her, taking her hand in his. He wouldn't meet her gaze when he was angry but he couldn't stay away from her either, his body leaned towards Hadiya no matter what and this time was no different.

"What happened to Zoya?" she asked and Zaryab groaned, making Hadiya wrap her arms around his bicep to hold him tighter.

"I don't know," he replied, scrolling on his social media, making Hadiya snatch it from his hand.

"Zaryab '' she yelled and Zaryab glared at her making her lose her hold in his bicep, she blinked slowly and created distance between them making Zaryab exhale a sigh.
