This will be quite a long chapter due to everything I want to add to it. 😭 Sorry if some paragraphs get boring, love you!

.2018.

-One month later-

Everyone quietly piled into the master bedroom of the Air Bnb, that belonged to Dave and Kairi. Kendra counted down from three silently with one hand before everyone else start to pop their party balloons.

"SURPRISE!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Everyone yelled in sync

Dave and Kairi jumped from the bed in surprise as Dave grabbed the comforter to cover up both of their half naked bodies.

"Aw hell naw. Y'all, don't invite me to shit else!" Pierre yelled as he walked from the room shaking his head at the naked bodies in his sight.

Everyone shared a laugh before most of them poured out of the room as Kairi sat up in the bed. Dave stared at Kendra, Cal and Niq in annoyance while Kendra happily made her way over to Kairi with her birthday cake. The cake was decorated and shaped like a purple Chanel bag. The girls knew Kairi's favorite brand and color, and inside held her favorite, strawberry cake.

"Aw, thank you! I love y'all seriously. Gone make me cry" Kairi fanned her eyes as she blew out the white "27" candles that sat in front of the Chanel bag.

Kendra smiled as she pulled the cake back from Kairi "Now get dressed. We have to catch up and Looney made breakfast" Kendra told her as the girls began to leave the room.

Kairi turned her attention to Dave but stopped when she realized he was not beside her anymore. Hearing the bathroom water running, Kairi pulled herself from the covers, pulled her robe from the headboard, and trailed her way into the bathroom. Rose petals covered the floor as Kairi looked in the bathroom to see Dave sitting on the edge of the tub shirtless while the bath water poured into a pile of bubbles. Candles laced the edges of the tub as the room smelled of Kairi's favorite scent, Teakwood.

"Aww babe. This is so cute." Kairi gazed around the candle lit bathroom as she walked over to Dave slowly.

Dave took her hands to pull her closer as he turned her around. He stood up behind her as he pulled the silk robe off of her shoulders, giving her neck a few small kisses. "Happy birthday mamas. Wash up and meet us downstairs" His hands snaked around her waist to untie the robe as it fell to the floor.

Kairi turned around to match Dave's eye contact. "You don't want to join me?" She asked in a low tone.

Dave just shook his head. "We got time for that tonight." He told her, placing a kiss on her forehead as he disappeared from the bathroom.

Dave made his way to the kitchen of the house as he heard the voices of Calaya and Unique arguing over Cairo's voice. He turned from the hall to see Calaya, Unique, Cairo, Pierre, Magic and Genna surrounding the kitchen and table while Dro, Kendra, Gwenny, Hero, Looney, and Layla sat in the livingroom.

Layla was Unique's (Niq), three year old daughter, who flew in with Pierre and Kendra. She was mostly attached to Kairi and Dave but for the past three days, Layla had been glued to Looney's side.

Cairo had arrived two weeks ago while Kendra and Pierre arrived almost a week ago. Over the past month, everyone had began to get used to each other. Cal and Genna had been getting closer to each other, Gwenny and Cairo had started to flirt every chance they could get while Looney and Niq began to start a relationship, even though they denied it every time they were asked. On the other hand, Hero had been leaving every blue moon to meet a woman he had met three weeks ago and everyone else was continuing the relationship they already had.
