Dave stared at the empty bottle of Patron sitting on the table in front of him. It had been a total of six months now since he had seen Kairi and five months since she sold her house in New York. He didn't know what to do without her but raise Chanel and he didn't know where to find her.
Everyone close to her, including Looney swore to secrecy that they wouldn't tell her location. Each time Dave asked about Kairi, they would only tell him that she was okay and would contact him when it was time.Amiya had placed him on child support for Chanel once the DNA test came back, hitting him for seven thousand a month. Chanel stayed with him every Friday evening to Tuesday morning then Tuesday evening to Friday morning, he stayed 0% sober.
Dave grabbed his phone and unlocked it to pull up Kairi's last instagram post.

Dave looked over the comments as he wondered what "we" she meant. A relationship with someone new, was the last thing Dave wanted it to be. He wanted to find Kairi but he knew he would see her soon at Pierre's wedding. Whoever she was with, would have to wait until he was done in Nevurary.
He scrolled down to post his own comment since she hadn't posted in a while.
"1k forever. Till death" He whispered the comment to himself, then posted it.
He hoped she would see it and reply or reach out to him, something. Next, he made his own post just in case she was watching him.
