.16. What is Love?

This is just a filler chapter with some more background information on Kairi. Bare with me as I am expanding my ideas for the book and working hard while at work lol. LETS GOOOOOOOO

-1 Week Later-

"When is your next appointment?" Dave asked as he sat on the hotel bed, watching Kairi pack up.

Today they were leaving to go on Kendra and Pierre's Friend Moon for all of their closest friends. Dave decided to come to Kairi's hotel room and help her pack due to her not wanting to come to his house just yet.

"Um, when we get back. A week after I think" Kairi replied while dropping her clothes into the suitcase on the bed side.

Dave nodded. "Do you have everything set up for their room? Want me to get some stuff?" He asked

"Not yet. I bought stuff but I just sit the bags in the empty room. We can get it together once you see" She replied

Dave nodded again. All of the questions didn't bother Kairi but she was just tired of talking about her plans for her babies like she wasn't prepared or anything.

"So whose all going?" Kairi asked, changing the subject.

"Uh, me and you. Genna and Calaya. Niq and Looney. Air and Paige. Dro and Mama. And your Aunt Layla" Dave replied, making sure he didn't miss anyone.

Kairi nodded. She had already spoken with Gweeny about taking care of Toot and Knight for the two weeks. Tommy, Kendra's father, had decided that him and his girlfriend, Jaleesa, would take care of Keyaire while everyone was gone.

Lastly, Dave had arranged for Chanel to stay with Cairo for his Dave's week, since he had to stay in town to pick up his daughter, Yuri, for a month. He made sure to send Cairo money for watching her but Cairo quickly sent it back and just asked about everything Chanel liked. The two also set a schedule for Chanel to facetime with Dave everyday.

The eleven of them would be spending the next two weeks in Bali, Indonesia, celebrating the marriage of Kendra and Pierre with activities planned by the couple themselves.

"Ready to go?" Kairi asked while zipping up her suitcase and pulling it to the floor.

"Yeah." Dave stood up as he took the suitcase from her hands, wheeling it to the door, letting her walk out before him.

"LAND! LANNNNDDDDD!" Paige yelled as she kissed the ground below them.

Everyone laughed as they began to pile from the private jet, that had just landed in Indonesia. After a full twenty three hour flight, with one stop, Paige swore to herself that she would never get on a plane again.

"Ma, it was not that bad." Pierre shook his head as he helped her up from the ground.

Paige looked at him with a clear cut mug. "Boy! Ain't nothing good about being over fifty feet in the air and NOT inside a STABLE building"

Everyone began to laugh again as Pierre looked offended. They made their way into the rented out limo, that would take them to the rented house.

"Everyone has their own room unless you brought a boo" Kendra said as they began to light up blunts to smoke.

"So that means i'm the only one with my own room?" Layla said giving Kendra a eye, causing a few laughs.
