Sebastian's POV
Oh yeah!
It's morning, and I get to put my plan in motion. You ask what plan it is?, Oh!, It's a very simple one, it's operation GET ANGEL TO LIKE ME. Simple as ABC, or so I thought.
I woke up with a yawn, to the sound of my alarm ring tone, annoying little thing. I do my morning routine as I always do each day, brush my teeth, take my bath, make my hair look great, dress responsibly before making my way downstairs to breakfast. Call me hygiene freak, but, that's my routine and I'm very proud of it.
"Good morning family", I announced loudly, making my voice ring throughout the house, my parents looked at me like I've grown two heads and my sister had a knowing smile gracing her lips.
"Good morning my love", I walked up to my sister to give her a kiss on the forehead before doing the same to my mom, then my dad.
"Are you alright, baby?", My mom asked while feeling my forehead, for any sign of high body temperature, Oh, excuse me, Ms. Nurse.
" I'm fine Mama, I'm more than fine", I chuckled heartily
" You're acting strange son", my Dad chirped in
" Nah, I just have a feeling today is going to be a great day", I told them while smiling happily
Although, my family is the greatest one ever, we all know how each and everyone acts, so to say my parents were startled at my 'strange' behavior is not a surprise. It is exactly how they should act.
I hummed as I ate my breakfast, the delicious breakfast prepared by my lovely mother. Hmmm, Sweet!.
"Hey Bro", I hugged my best friend, who looked at me strangely too, because I have never hugged him, I was not a person too much on affection, so he must have been startled too.
"Are you okay?", He asked me too and I gave him my explanation of how I thought it was going to be a great day.
Class went on and I still kept my positive thoughts of the day being great. I was also looking forward to meeting Angel later and asking her to be my friend only, and hopefully more than that as my sister so wonderfully put it.
We only had one class together, and that was last period, which I find very helpful because, once she agreed to be mine, then we can hang out after school, smooth, right?, I know!. I couldn't wait for last period, but I did anyways.
Finally, it was last period, I rushed to class, not waiting for my friends, I took a seat next to where I know Angel would surely sit. I didn't have to wait for long before she graced me, well, the whole class her beautiful presence. My soul immediately lifted upon seeing that pleasant face.
She sat exactly where I predicted she would sit at and I couldn't be more happier.
To be honest, I did not hear a thing the teacher was saying, I was totally smitten by this girl and I couldn't help but stare at her all 'period' long.
"... Mr Duncan?", I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my surname being called by the teacher, I was fucked, literally. You ask why?, I'll tell you.
The teacher was very harsh when it comes to answering questions in his class, he could send you to detention, if you got the answer wrong, and not only was I going to get the answer wrong, I did not hear a thing he has been saying since class started, and he also caught ne staring at Angel while smiling like a loon. Now you know why I said I was fucked.
"Yes?", I answered, in the hopes of getting him to repeat the question, something I know he wouldn't do,not in this life, but a boy can hope.
"You did not hear the question, do you?", He asked and I nodded.
"You weren't even paying attention at all, were you?", Once again, I nodded
"And what is on (A/N; oh shit!, I forgot Angel's surname, or I did not give her any to begin with🤔) Miss Moore gave that you were staring at so intently?", He asked and I nodded again before my brain registered what he asked.
" Um, I don't, I wasn't, it was nothing, there was nothing there", I stammered
He gave me a disapproving look, and I know all eyes were on me including my Angel's. I wanted her to look at me, yes, but not in the kind of disappointing manner. I have never wished to disappear more than that moment.
"You!, one hour detention after school", I could only nod my head as the teacher dished out my punishment on a platter of gold.
I suddenly looked up, at that moment, and I saw Angel smiling at me, like she was amused and confused at the same time, but she totally thinks I'm cool. I smiled back, and at that moment, I thought, there is an entry for me, I had a chance with her, and I was so happy that very moment.
"Don't forget to hand in your assignment in a week time, okay?", The teacher said before the bell rang and walked out of the room.
"Wait!, What?!?, Assignment?, What assignment?!?, I didn't hear a thing", I talked to myself thinking about how to get the assignment question so I won't be on the teacher's bad side. He is cruel as it is, I wouldn't want his attention on me. Thank you very much.
"Uh, hi", I waved shyly at Angel before taking in a deep breath, I was about to introduce myself, when the most quiet girl in school Alysson, grabbed her arm and pulled her away from me saying something about being late.
"Hey, I was talking to her first", I sulked like a three year old to their retreating backs.
No one should take her away form me, no one!, But, what if she wanted to be taken away?, Maybe she thought I was a fool, that was why she was smiling earlier, it's not because she thought I was cool, it was because she was making fun of me. No one makes fun of me!.
I was fuming with anger, by the time I reached that conclusion within myself. And, I know exactly what to do to her, to gain her attention and to pay her back for making fun of me.
It's on!
I willed myself to look cheerful so that I wouldn't have to explain a thing to my sister, because I know she would not agree with my plan which I know will be very effective, unlike hers.
