"Look who's back," Ollie sang as Tess finally walked into the common room. She rolled her eyes since he looked like he was heading somewhere. "Did lover boy exhausted you?"

"Gross man, really. We hung out a little, he's back to doing homework. It's his last year, I'm grateful we get to spend time together at all."

Her best friend laughed at her thinking she had to explain herself, putting a hand on her shoulder. "So you two are doing okay?"

Tess nodded, giving him a smile. "Summer really brought us together and I guess we worked through what happened last year."

"I'm glad, just remember that whatever happens, I'm here. Don't close yourself off, Tessie, I'm your best friend."

"It was just, a lot. I guess I had to clear things out with him before I came to you, you would've beaten his ass."

The Potter girl shook her head in annoyance. "You against seeker Diggory? I would've loved to see that."

The corner of Ollie's mouth twitched. "I may not be physically gifted, but my potions are something else."

Tess chuckled. "Fair enough. Where are you going though?"

The Ravenclaw boy started fidgeting a little. "Just to the kitchen with Hazel."

"Ooh, talk about getting action with Hufflepuffs."

Oliver shook his head and flipped her off, making his way out of the Ravenclaw common room.

"Have fun too!" Tess yelled after him, chuckling to herself as she made her way to her dorm.

None of her roommates were there yet so she plopped on her head, already getting out parchment and textbooks when her phone went off.
