A few minutes later, Joshua knocked on my doorbell. There were tears streaming down my face.
"Y/n, please. I don't even know what you're talking about. Please, let's talk this out."
"LEAVE JOSHUA!"
"Y/n, I'm not leaving, I'm just going to sit outside your apartment until you let me in."
"Fine, you won't last out there." I laughed a little, it's so hard to stay mad at him.
"I have pretzels from the flight. I should last a while."
"Oh."
After about 30 minutes of waiting for him to go away, I finally opened the door to see if he was gone. I saw his face as he ran in the door while I had it open. Joshua tried to give me a hug as I dodged it.
"What's wrong?" Joshua sighed.
"You went to New York to hang out with Olivia?? Did you even audition?? Did you kiss-"
"What???" He questioned, "I have not seen or talked to Olivia since filming."
I started crying once again, "then what is this??" I opened the post up and showed him.
"Y/n, that's an old photo. I cannot believe she would post that with all the drama going on-"
"How can I believe you?"
"I don't know how to convince you, but I'm so sorry that it caused you pain." He said putting his arms out. I didn't mean to, but I ended up in his arms, sobbing. He wiped the tears from my face, "you know I love you y/n, only you. Okay?" *im sorry that's such a basic line*
I nodded and whispered, "yeah." I leaned my head into his chest as he rubbed circles into my back with his thumb. He picked me up gently and sat down on my couch with me on his lap. In a few minutes I fell asleep in his arms. Peacefully.

"Olivia, I just can't believe-"
He was silent for a few minutes. I was still lying in his arms. I was pretending to be asleep because I was woken up at that point. I was listening to his conversation. I still don't even know if he was telling the truth. He was rubbing my back gently with his thumb.
"You can't just-. Look Olivia, you can't just post old pictures of us from when we were dating like that. Your stupid fans are freaking out for nothing, and my girlfriend thinks I'm cheating on her. So, yeah, thanks a lot." I hugged Josh a little harder. He's telling the truth.
"Take it down, address the misunderstanding, and please don't do that again. And, don't call me again. If you can't tell, we're broken up and I don't want you. I want y/n. And if you can't respect that, don't pull me into your drama please. And now, y/n is getting hate. Get over the fact that we broke up. Almost three years ago, and you just can't handle the fact I met someone new."
He was silent again until he answered, "goodbye Olivia." He hung up. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes, "good morning, sleepy head." He grinned at me before he noticed my tears, "baby, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just- love you, Josh."
"I love you too." He grinned, "so forgiven?"
"You did nothing wrong." I shook my head, "I'm so sorry I didn't believe you."
"I'm so sorry that this happened." He frowned, cuddling me closer. "I'm going to go home, see you tomorrow, small bean."
"Hearing it in person, I'm saying no to the small bean nickname."
He smirked, "I'll find another one! I'm determined."
