Christmas Day
*Y/n pov*

I woke up the next day in an amazing mood. It's Christmas Day. I'm with my family - and Joshua Bassett. Could life be any better? Nope.

I smelled pancakes and bacon, so I brushed my hair and teeth and headed out to eat breakfast. I smiled when I saw Joshua making breakfast. I snuck behind him and hugged him. He smiled and kissed me on the head, "hey baby. Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas, love. This is sweet of you. You know, making breakfast."

"Trying to get in good with the family. Especially your brother. I don't think he likes me."

"He's shy." I laughed, "plus I think he's just not ready for me to have a guy in my life. He's always been like my best friend, I think it's just hard for him, you know?"

"Yeah, I get it. I still wanna be friends with him though. I'm not trying to get in between the two of you."

"He's sensitive even if he doesn't seem like it. You'll grow on him though." I responded.

My mom and dad then came out of their room, smiling. "Merry Christmas kiddos!" My mom said. "It's so nice of you to make breakfast Josh!"

"Yeah, thanks, Josh." My dad said.

My brother and Maia came into the kitchen a little while after we started eating. Josh really is a master baker. The pancakes were absolutely delicious.

"Thank you, Josh, that was good," Mason said, quietly.

Josh smiled, "No problem."

We spent the rest of the day opening presents. My brother got some baseball cards and shirts. Maia got a necklace and leggings. My mom and dad got board games and movies. Josh got a new guitar strap and I made him a collage. I got some clothes and candy. It was a great day. Maia and I got to know each other a little better as Josh showed Mason his guitar. Mason showed Josh his room. It was really cute seeing them get along. It was a really great Christmas. Maybe the best one yet.
