'The Xhitli were enraged at the Humans. This species had FTL travel for less than 15 solar cycles, and managed to crumble the Xithi economy in just ten! The once mighty Xhitli Empire assembled its fearsome fleet, the largest in the Galaxy, and set course for the Sol system. Their ultimatum was simple: unconditional surrender or total extermination of all the Humans. After their arrival on the other side of the Oort cloud, they were met with no resistance, except for a single transmission addressed to both the Xhitli fleet and the Galactic Union Senate. "Pathetic monkeys are begging for mercy!" Thought Vef'aen, the fleet commander, before looking at his screen. On the other side was a single human female dressed in an uniform that the commander hadn't seen before. "Take action with what? your species doesn't even have a navy!" Suddenly, an alarm sounded, indicating a subspace distortion. A distortion powerful enough to trip the alarm usually is something coming out of FTL closer than 100km from the ship, but this distortion was... huge. It engulfed almost the entire system, extending to Neptune's orbit. Suddenly, it disappeared and a massive fleet appeared in its place, made out of thousands of different ship types, as if they all weren't even from the same universe, much less the same race. The commander could even swear that he saw a few green ships disappear seconds after appearing. "With this" said the human female. "This is less than one percent of United Terras fleet, so I suggest that you run". Naturally, the Galactic Senate had questions, the most important of them being how the hell were humans able to assemble such a large fleet? The humans did the impossible - bridged the gap between universes, so if one humanity was facing extermination, others could help. In time, they also extended the offer to other, allied races. That's why we should vote to begin immediate diplomatic relations with Terra'
