Chapter One

A Typical... Friday night, you sigh as you take a sip of your drink. Booting up the good ole PC to stream a little before dinner. You login and set up watching your viewers flood in.

"Hey guys! Thanks for joining me again this evening what shall we play today?"

The evening goes on you share some laughs with your viewers some of them being friends from school whom you recognize.

All too soon it's time for dinner and you gotta leave. You say bye to your viewers and thank them for joining you log out slip your head phones off and head downstairs.

Heading downstairs you notice your mother is the only one at the dinner table. You take a seat and dig in as you do she speaks.

"Your father is on a business trip for the weekend he's left for his flight already."

You nod in response as you take a gulp from your glass.

"I'll be leaving tonight."

"Oh I thought we were going to have a movie marathon.."

Your mother sighs and her face softens as you eat.

"I know honey we can have one next time though, okay?"

You sigh and smile clearing your plate and placing it in the dishwasher. Your shoulders slumped disappointed.

"Sure."

"Alright kiddo, you know where our emergency contacts are and how to lock the doors."

She ruffles your h/c hair messing it slightly. She goes to walk to the front door where her suitcases are but stops momentarily raising her finger in the air.

"Oh right! I was airing out the cellar for the renovations next week and forgot to close the window."

"Oh don't worry about it I'll close it."

She kissed your forehead and grabbed her suitcase. You open the door for her and help place her things in the car.

She kisses your forehead one final time and you give a small smile.

"Bye Mom, love you."

"Bye dear stay safe, love you too."

With that she drives down the road. Before you walk inside you check the mail and find a suspicious envelope. You think nothing of it and go to head inside as you do you see a suspicious vehicle you don't recognize roll past the house slowly then speed off.

"Odd."

*1:35 am*

Scrolling through tik tok in bed your mind travels back to the suspicious envelope.

Stretching and swiping it off of your side table you open it. It smells nice? For some odd reason. You pull out the paper and it has weird magazine clippings. It spells out "number one fan" you place the envelope on your side table feeling a bit urked.

You check the time again.

1:59 am.

You sigh and decide to stream because well why not it's summer and your sleep schedule is all messed up.

"That envelope was odd but I'm sure it was just a wrong address or a prank."

You make exscuses in your mind in order to calm yourself down.

You login and start streaming some Minecraft.
