The school's football team won and Arlen scored a touchdown and I won the debate competition. Liam and Ethan started dating and I'm incredibly happy that the ship finally sailed. Our friends were incredibly happy that we started dating and both my moms love Arlen and his mother adores me. We're now about to graduate from high school and we're both going to New York University, I'm studying creative writing and hope to become a writer and Arlen is studying computer science and hopes to become a mathematician. I never believed in happy endings but I'm starting to think that maybe some people get happy endings. It's been 5 years but I still often think about this day
