Spider's Web

I stare in amazement, watching silk being spun,

Finely lined, awsomely devine,

So silver and strong, but delicate and beautiful,

A spider's web is all it takes,

So make sure it makes,

A good place to lace,

It's fine fibers together, to lace,

Put together, they are as hard and tough as a mace,

A spider's web,

Shimmering in the sunlight,

Swaying in the autumn breeze,

I watch and stare,

Mezmerized, to the point of a doze,

It tickles my cold nose.

I wonder what spider was responsible,

For this magnificent peice of glory,

But as for now,

It hangs so prettily for all to see,

Not shown like a shopping mall,

But for the wanderers of time,

Come to see such beauty,

For a spider's web,

Can change a life, no matter how small or delicate,

It is as hard as steel,

But as soft as feathers,

A spider's web...

It describes us all
