Cherry Blossom

Butterflies fly,

The birds sing, its summer time indeed,

But it is very hot, for a bead,

Of crystaline salt drops from my skin,

I stand and smell the cherry blossoms,

They look and smell oh so sweet,

For the tree stands next to my favorite place,

Where the ferns grow and the bugs chirp,

And where the frogs mirp,

The meadow of dreams, the forest of song,

The cherry blossom looks so beautiful,

I forget the temperature,

For this is no time to dwell,

The cherry blossom will help, the shade of it so cool,

It starts to rain suddenly and starts to pool,

It has made a different beauty of its own,

i laugh in wonder, and revel in the peace of it all,

The cherry blossom,

Oh the cherry blossom,

Spring time is truly here, never to go,

It is never too slow, for a sweet hyme of sorts starts up a song,

For the cherry blossom of dreams and sweets,

Hanging oh so sweet and low,

Will forever be in my heart, in my mind and nose,

Cherry blossom, oh cherry blossom,

Let pour over me,

Like the warm rain, let it never flee,

Oh sweet cherry blossom, oh comforting rain,

Cherry blossom, cherry blossom
